That shit was ridiculous That was literally it, the whole episode.

There was one filler episode like that about their friendship but I think that specific ep you are talking about is further down the line

Still I am of the opinion that it is impressive for TWD to go beyond 6 seasons and still remain good, usually shows past that point go to shit spectacularly

Although I do have to say the show is not quite the same without Rick. I wonder if Jadis finally went to lay with Rick after, but please dont spoil !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I assume they are alive because they went away together

Book of Carol has been a great spin-off imo.

I like the show but I’m so pissed after ep4. Felt it was rushed, non organic and Daryl basically moved on with no reaction? Fuk

That was the worst fucking episode of TV ever. The entire season 11 can go in the bin. I will pretend it never happened

After the finale of all finales, Rewatching seasons 1-4 was surreal. The show was actually scary in the beginning lol. A lot of the walkers had actual agency, seeing Morgan’s wife walk up to the house and grab the door handle trying to get inside terrified the shit out of me again after well over a decade. After 3 seasons the walkers became boring

Re-watching also made me appreciate more  Rick’s transformation and slowly going insane each season and basically becoming Shane. Not as bat shit ofc but he got close. The unofficial finale was 9x5 when Rick got off

I had to catch up after dropping it somewhere around s4/5

In hindsight after time has passed seasons 1-6 cast is probably top 3 ever in any TV show

Later seasons are a mixed big, and the spinoffs are mostly a money grab but still enjoyable especially compared to what's on tv these days

Just found out there is a Maggie+Negan spinoff too last yr? Lol so am watching that...pretty meh as well stories n pacing a awful but the production n sets n effects are decent... dunno why I just like to see the mood of any kind of apocalyptic world with zombies...

Yea so funny just from a couple of seasons of good show can come spinoffs even over a decade later... I feel bad for that director who is the Shawshank Redemption director I believe, he fell out with the showrunners soon after I read...

I agree, the Maggie/Negan dynamic was worth exploring further but that plot is just all over the place
