Brighton didn't look very dangerous in attack either, but I do think they were the better team in this match.

Might sound strange coming from a Real Madrid fan, but I know exactly what you mean. Several years ago, I decided to follow at least one additional team to Real Madrid every week, if only to take my mind off of our poor performances when those do occur. Even if we end the season with trophies, it can really ruin my day when we perform really poorly - especially against assumed worse opposition.

Ironically, the season when we won the league and the Champions League under Zidane is the most frustrating season I've ever witnessed from Real Madrid. We didn't lose much, and we defied all odds when we ended up winning the CL, as well as catch up to and beat Barcelona in the league, but the first half of that season seemed like a never-ending train of frustrating performances. They say that the ends justify the means, but as happy as I may have been when we were lifting trophies at the end of that season, the thing I remember most about it was the frustration.

Gundogan and Mahrez are both elite talents, but they have had the luxury of being rested a lot throughout the season. It can be a bit deceptive in regards to their form when you see them start against teams that likely are experiencing some level of fatigue from playing every 3 days.

I completely understand Fennec's frustration with Mahrez, as he can look world class in one game and borderline useless in another. Gundogan doesn't have that consistency issue, but there's a clear contrast between how they're performing right now, compared to how they were performing during the first half of the season when the playing field was more even.

I understand Arsenal have had a really good season, and you don’t mess with something that was working. But imo Jorginho is a better midfielder than Partey, would have more points if he started those games against the teams they drops points over the last two months.

that's a hot take indeed. Jorginho is nice but Partey has arguably been our MVP this season. Then again, we probably do get the 3 points vs West Ham if Jorginho played.

They're two different players though. Jorginho is small and less athletic. Good reader of the game though, relies more on his positional street smarts. Mostly a safe sideways passer except for the occasional worldie throughball. Partey is robust and a midfield destroyer, decent passer too. They said something like he has won the most tackles (for his position) in the league this season when he came on today.

Antony is also utter shite, ship this bum back to Holland. He's not built for the PL. Terrible decision making, one footed beyond belief. Not a great passer, cant beat a man easily. 80M lmao.

How delusional you were to compare him with Mane, that too when Mane was in peak form Laughing

After being weird and weirdly shit the whole season, we are three points behind Newcastle and 1 point title challenging ManUtd Laughing
Enjoying the fact that we have rattled ManUtd camps

I don't remember that, probably banter considering I was championing signing Mane for United before you knew who he was

we just need Pool to drop points and win a couple of games, PLS, fucking bottlers, look like they've given up and ETH is worrying me with his subs, even though we have a weak squad, get garnacho on ffs

I forgive you. You were just trying to feel good by believing that Rashford is also a legit great player. Mind you, Rushford under a good coaching team can be elite.

All ManUtd fans need to calm down, you will easily win Wolves, Bournemouth and Fulham... most likely against Chelsea also.

Partey has arguably been their most important player all season, as a starter. Jorginho has only been with them for a few months and hasn't been a regular starter. I personally think Jorginho has a lot to prove if he wants to convince anyone that he's a better player than Partey 2022/2023 Premier League Discussion - Page 15 1f605 Contrastingly, Rashford wasn't anything special until after the world cup and up until a month or so ago. We all appreciate good form, but it doesn't make much of a difference in the grand scheme of things, if it's not sustainable.
