It's not a matter of what league these players come from. Every player gone to United has turned to shit. While at Chelsea most attacking players flop.

Dire stuff. Second half better but my expectations are 6th. Massive rebuild needed.

No lie, it took me till the 65th minute to realise he was playing. Can't even impress vs Brighton, oof.S wrote:Bundesliga the ultimate fraud league ffs
Sancho looks like barely a footballer in the PL
Good luck to Ten Hag, he's going to get fired and more bald with this squad and well done to Brighton, excellent match from them.

I have no doubt in my mind that if he had been born a millenium ago, he would have been one of the most ruthless vikings in history.
Dude is possessed by an evil spirit that only wants destruction and total annihilation of everything that breathes.
I fucking hate that he plays for the Bald Fraud.

Did you see his Motm interview with Sky? He said "it's been 30 mins since I last scored so I need to keep going" in the post match interview. Damn

Re: 2022/2023 Premier League Discussion
You know there’s this clip doing the rounds on Twitter where Pep mentions the reason Messi is the best is because Messi is like an animal when he attacks the box.
If you watch him specifically you’ll notice he makes these aggressive darting runs to the edge of the box 7-10 times a game. Even when he scores 1 or 2, he ends looking for the 3rd or even 4th.
Ronaldo is the same with how hungry he is when he attacks the box. Although his movement is more toward the penalty area rather than edge of the box.
I get the same vibes with Haaland. The way he attacks the ball and the way he tries to run on to it….Scary.
Usually in all sports the very top 2-3 players do something a bit differently to the rest. Usually they end up being ahead of the rest of the sport due to a combination of innovation and discipline.
It’s harder to note it in football. I mean in basketball you could say that Curry changed the game with his stronger emphasis on 3 point shooting. Messi’s innovation came from being able to impact the game from a dribbling, creating, and scoring perspective. It essentially meant he was a threat anywhere after the halfway line. Ronaldo’s innovation came from his hunger when attacking the box.
Haaland’s similar to Ronaldo in that regard. Combine his own physical prowess and winner’s mentality with that and you’ll realize why he’ll hit 40 goals.

Re: 2022/2023 Premier League Discussion
So painful to see Haaland playing for City. But anyways, no one cam stop that maniac. Pep and Haaland both need some time to adapt to each other, like we experienced that in community shield game. But Haaland will break many records if he stays longer with City.
Can't believe that EPL next season has already started. Happy that for Liverpool, I will keep 0 expectations this year. We already won a trophy and Klopp is no Pep in terms of managing the squad through the world cup in December. I am very happy with just community shield for this year.

Re: 2022/2023 Premier League Discussion
Watching United fans is just hilarious.
Always new hope.
When they got Mourinho to that fraud van Gaal to Rangnick who feels entitled to everything but produces nothing and now ten Haag who still thinks he is playing against Gronigen.
Not to mention the return of 42 year old Ronaldo who builds the entire team around his goals and leaves it a shit team. So maybe Allegri was right about CR.
What this spells to me is that the fans don't get a bulk of their success really was SAF and this only elevates his image in my mind, further as the greatest manager of all time.
And United are reeling in agony without him.

Re: 2022/2023 Premier League Discussion
Just found out about this:
Uh... welcome forest to the prem?
Nottingham Forest
Newly promoted Forest is owned by Greek shipping magnate Vangelis Marinakis, who recently acquired four vessels that previously belonged to Sovcomflot, Russia’s biggest shipping group. In 2018, Marinakis was accused by a Greek prosecutor of financing a criminal network involved in drug trafficking. He has also been accused of match-fixing in Greece, where he owns Olympiacos, and of orchestrating a bombing supposedly targeting a former referee.

Can someone explain to me why the Xakha yellow card is being investigated for its betting irregularity but Xakha isn't a suspect? Either he or the referee would need to be involved for it to happen the way they wanted it. Weird!

Probably the same reason Partey still starts while having rape allegations over his head: protection?

Best half of Arsenal so far, still a bit lucky for the penalty to be overturned and Leicester missing a 1v1, so I'm not sure Leicester are out of this.
