Re: 2022/2023 Premier League Discussion
A few weeks ago I mentioned how Grealish and Mahrez don't release the ball quick enough because they are constantly told not to lose the ball, so Haaland's early runs get ignored. Pep actually talks about that tradeoff that we talked about in the clip below.

City got drilled on the counter because they lost the ball too quickly looking for Haaland. You can play end to end if you can finish your chances, but if you don't you are left susceptible to counters. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out over the course of the season.

I've seen City fans complain about Foden not passing to Halaand a lot.

Gallagher was the best thing about the Chelsea midfield before he went off, what game were you watching?
He'll only get better as time goes on once he adapts to his teammate. Well, that's if Tuchel can set his mind on a main starting 11 because dude seems to be confused when it comes to that.
Chelsea's main eleven should be
Sterling ---------------- Mount
Gallagher - Kante - Kovacic
Chillwel - Koulibaly - Silva - James
Mendy
But guy seems intend on playing a back 3 with wingbacks, which i can understand that brings the best out of James and Chillwel, but then sometimes he doesn't even play James and Chillwel in those positions, so i really don't understand the guy.
If he doesn't play with a midfield 3, he loses the advantage that the quality of midfielders could give him in the midfield battle of games.
Confused guy

That being said I rather have KDB. I think he is involved more in 90 minutes than prime Hazard was.

Obviously De Bruyne.
Hazard was always overrated due to his dribbling ability, even though he mostly used it to little end product. Different leagues.

Re: 2022/2023 Premier League Discussion
Prime De Bruyne of cos, hes so all round n has such influence on games.
@El Gunner, I think I watched about half the match Just remember Leeds pressed non stop n he was struggling, have not watched him at all b4 this game so I'll try n do so b4 making judgement. But I thought Havertz has been a key player for Chelsea... if hes not played now there is no one in there, at least he has height? Early days but false 9 Sterling is interesting but not sure if it will work out, shame really hes a top player...

Lol You gotta say the full name na. Curtis Jones. Ya. I may have a vague idea now. But then again, doesnt make a difference to my assessment. And pls our 5 ft 4 baby CB would have wiped the floor with the Uruguayan Andy Carrol.
