Re: Calcio Saga 22/23
If Juve manage to get back in CL even with the points deduction, this league should dissolve tbh

Osimhen lost his lucky mask in Nigeria and Napoli paid the price

Re: Calcio Saga 22/23
The win over Napoli shouldn't fool anyone. Napoli have basically won the league and are without Osimehn along with preparing for bigger challenges and resting key players.
Pioli has made key changes that have resulted in a more solid backline along with clearer identity in the quick unpredictable counters. Only thing going for us above Napoli in the UCL is our pedigree but that's stretching it a bit.
Kjaer has become a favourite for me for a long time given he evolved from a naive CB to a true leader and very reliable presence and Tonali is just proving to be a midfield dynamo. The Pirlo comparisons dont make sense if anything his offensive side is more akin to Modric with his energy and movement style. I love how two-footed he is in his passes. Very happy as well to see Brahim back in form and really hope Milan buys him from Madrid.

Re: Calcio Saga 22/23
Juve's appeal scheduled on april 19th probably they will give us back our points
If that happens we still have a chance at the scudetto but we also need Napoli bottling big time with 10 match days left
I think Inter will get bumped out of CL spots, currently caught in a downward spiral and still qualified in 3 competitions. Subpar performances on the field lately and Inzaghi might not last until may. They will run out of gas i think.

As it stands now Brahim will most likely be brought back wither as a replacement for Asensio if his contract isn't renewed or to get sold for profits ala Odegaard.

Tonali looked like the next Pirlo at Brescia when he was playing as a lone DM in a 3-man midfield and was tasked with the build-up responsibility.
We turned him into a double pivot player who is more focused on winning the ball than spreading it around.

Re: Calcio Saga 22/23
Pirlo role seems to be going out of fashion again.
Now the entire central backline have to be ball players, including the GK, while a more two dimensional player is used where Pirlo would normally be.

Napoli can comfortably just focus on CL now. Roma still in EL.

FORZA JUVE
What a joke that was anyways, a punishment for paying our players the money they are owed
As if all other clubs in Italy are run strictly by the book. Bitch please

Re: Calcio Saga 22/23
So they will create a rule and punish us for activities done before said rule
seems quite crooked and biased to me

Lol? This must be historic cos I never heard anything like this... the other teams must be feeling wtf, being in the CL or EL spots now suddenly misses out... really wtf?

Re: Calcio Saga 22/23
You mean Inter and Milan ? It's their problem, all they have to do is win more points than Juve. Which is not that hard of a task given the streak of bad results to start the season (but then it got better)
It's not like we are given 15 free points, we won them through our results
Although i can sense epic drama if we finish marginally above 5th place and have to wait for a court's decision on the final standings

Re: Calcio Saga 22/23
Definitely making it much more interesting to an otherwise comparatively dull league
Havent watched much since whenever I tried in the past more often than not the games are boring for some reason. Hope for the leagues sake it means improvement rather than not

Re: Calcio Saga 22/23
We didn't get our points back. The whole process continues to be a farce, the appeal judges and the prosecution themselves both proposed that the initial (15 point judgement) was without reason. The first judge ruled after like half an hour and penalized 15 points when even the prosecution just asked for 9.
There will be a retrial, with a new composition as the previous process was absurd, and the uncertainty continues through the whole season. It's likely there will still be points penalty, just lower, probably just enough to ensure we don't get top 4.

Re: Calcio Saga 22/23
Just realised two Italian teams in the UCL semis and UEL. Not bad.
No I dont support a league if anything its La Liga I do but I am impressed.
Obviously I'll root for Milan but since I always liked Roma individually and now even Jose for a while if so Jose's Roma I am rooting for them to win the cup.
Jose winning UEL after his Conference League win will be stellar and he will be the first to hold all three.

Re: Calcio Saga 22/23
Is it fair to say whichever club pays the judge the most would get the favoured decision they want?
Ie. If Juve can out pay the rivals to ensure they get enough points back for top 4
Is Italy like this in general? I mean I always knew the football in corrupt, but even the court system then?

Hasn't Mourinho already won it twice? Uefa Cup with Porto the season before they won the CL and UEL once with Man United like 5-6 years ago.
Anyway, I came to talk about Inzaghi. Wanted him gone so bad yet the man is in Italian Cup final and CL semifinal.

Is anyone else not buying this supposed Mourinho resurgence? More often than not he either draws or loses against his direct rivals and the team is still stuck in the 5-7th range they were in before he got there
A third tier European title against opponents they should beat is merely a consolation prize for a team that was competing for the Scudetto not too long ago.

Re: Calcio Saga 22/23
Mourinho is no longer a top manager, his football has been left behind tactically.
But his mentality still shows, hence Roma victories in Europe.
