Inter lost

Juve lost

Now time for us to lose as well against Napoli to complete the trifecta

Looks like we will lose a match we don't deserve losing at all. Comfortably the better team for most of the match, but wasted so many chances.

This is what happens when you don't take what you create.

Also, this should show the anti-Calabria jokers how important he is defensively to our balance.

Completely agreed. I’m a huge Calabria fan. Frustrating game to watch though because we created so many more chances but somehow didn’t win.

Incredible. Absolutely robbed, again. It's a repeating narrative, everyone cries about Juve and ref yet we are the team in Serie A most penalized by wrong VAR decisions, an outdated stereotype.

This was absurd, it costed us 2 points and 3 red cards.

Any consequences? How is this possible. The video ref should lose their job surely?

You would think so, but no. There were no consequences like that.

Here is the explanation given:
The linesman saw it and did not raise his flag, so the ref called the goal. VAR did the routine check and called offside because they did not take into account Candreva, who played everyone onside from the corner.

There are three categories of games in Serie A for VAR due to the costs of the system for each match. Each category is assigned by the league and Juve-Salernitana was the lowest. It means it has the minimum amount of VAR cameras and they missed the angle of the corner. It was not recorded so it was not checked.

Our players protested and pointed to Candreva, so we got 3 red cards for our troubles and 2 points lost. No one from the ref association was held responsible.

We looked like a real team. Solid all around, pressing better, trying more vertical plays.

Good to have some players back. Bologna was pretty bad, let's see tte team as the opposition gets tougher.

If the linesman saw it why couldn’t the ref just ignore the VAR call? Doesn’t he have the final say?

He does. That's just the explanation given, that he was asked by VAR to watch and overturn it based on the footage they had. It's all a travesty.

Yes. Nothing to say, everything wrong at Juve currently.

Now in ritiro, let's see what the reaction will be. Next match is against Torino so there is little hope of a good performance.

Ritiro

It is such a backward and demoralising concept that only smaller clubs and their players accept. Ritiro on paper is a good concept but never actually seems to work as I've followed all the Cagliaris and Empolis who do it and fail the next game.

The problem is Agnelli above all who's a trust fund baby clown. Juve need a restructuring.

Cremonese should easily go down

The other 2 are tricky, i don't think Hellas will be relegated.

I think Spezia will, they've been horrible

Samp without Giampaolo might have a chance to escape now.

Im gonna say Bologna, they have a tough slew of games coming up and they havent been convincing thus far.

I think Sampadoria will get relegated last, briefly threatening to survive. Cremonese will be the first to go,.followed by Lecce.

I think Spezia and Bologna has enough quality to stay up, but they will be in contention for most of the season.

Managed to catch the last 15 mins of Fio-Inter yesterday, insane game. But surely Italiano is in the red now, he's only managed to win against: Hearts, Hellas, Cremonese and Twente.

Damn. Every football match I hoped for this weekend came on the opposite. Now we are being dominated by Torino after Leap wastes two good
, and one SUBLIME chances.

Ridiculously wasteful, and then get punished from a set-piece. That's our main weakness of the past three years, and always teams like Torino that takes advantage of it.
