With Casemiro gone, he's going to have to mature and play with confidence immediately... he can do it. But this is FAR (and I mean FAR FAR) different pressure than Monaco of course.

Was fine with NT... but France often had an overwhelming talent advantage there. Against the elite clubs, it will be more even.

I'm intrigued. Hope he doesn't waste such a big opportunity.

It's not just the pressure that he's up against, it's adjusting to a new role. For some reason people really underestimate the challenges of switching from a double pivot to CDM.

Agreed. It's not going to be easy early on I would imagine. He'll struggle some until he figures it out in a couple of months.
