You can make anyone look bad with a 30 sec clip but overall his passing was indeed awful over the 2 previous NT games (kind of reminded me of Pogba passing to no-one in that clip)

His athleticism/jumping is his strength, but is that worth 100m is up to debate. Maybe 2 games isnt enough to judge, but sometimes you notice straight-away especially with passing

I think Camavinga is better and he went for like what? 40m? Tchou is vastly overpriced and over rated imo

Definitely overpriced. I still have hopes that Madrid were able to negotiate the price down to a more reasonable figure.

I think what makes the price so excessive is our desperation and the world knowing we have money to burn.

If you look around you won't find anyone other than Tcho with a similar profile to Casemiro. Hopefully he can learn under Casemiro for a season or 2 and take over when he just enters his prime

It's wrong to expect your DM to be the playmaker and I hope we don't make that mistake. If he keeps the ball moving and doesn't turn to spaghetti feet under pressure it'll already be a plus

casemiro worked because we had 2 ultra technical mids alongside him, not Camavinga and Valverde, who are great, but different profiles

I feel the moment you go a season without winning a major title with that midfield fans are going to complain about having no technical leader in midfield.

Tchouameni is not overpriced or overrated. He was, by far... and I mean by a country mile... the best CM in Ligue 1. He carried Monaco the second half of the season with Ben Yedder.

I would not judge anyone in June NT friendlies (yes, nobody cares about Nation's League in a world cup year). He wasn't good... but it also had to do with Monaco going to the last game to get CL. Intensity was very high for Tchouameni all the way until the end.

I ain't French bar my the name my mom gave me and everything what Sports said about Tchou is pretty accurate.

Except for teams not taking the Nations League seriously, that's not true at all. Games are being played in a very competitive spirit & serious mindset, just that some teams aren't performing as they should.
