Exactly Laporte is not bartomeu, the board at Barca changes in elections unlike at other clubs so the dynamics are a little different

Bartomeu and his shady dealings are not what Barca stands for, he did it in his own personal interests

I’m sure we knew Messi gets about 100m per year although maybe not the exact number, and Neymar’s father is also his agent and he was rumored to have received a 20m commission rightaway iirc

Not doing the lever shit and ending up with zero improvement to the squad is worse. Without these marquee signings and results we would lose this income anyway because no results would mean significantly less income too

Look at how much attention Lewa brings, in terms of sponsorships aswell

We could sign nobody and fold to mediocrity for 15 years like Milan or we can try to bounce back quickly

Not investing in the squad if you’ve got momentum is a big mistake, because then you’ll have no pull and will incur even bigger losses

We should have got more for him for sure but he isn't really any better now than compared to when he arrived here

Tbh he hasn't really shown much in these 3 years especially given the fact that he was paid like an elite CB.

He wasn't even a top 5 CB in Serie A last season tells all you need to know

Doubt we'll get another CB although there are rumors about Milenkovic. Gatti and Bremer arriving means any other CBs would hinge on selling Rugani.

Same for midfield. We have like 8 midfielders atm not even counting Ramsey. We'll need to sell Arthur, one of McKennie or Rabiot, one of the youngsters loaned. Then maybe another one comes.

For forward we do need at least one more signing. Zaniolo and maybe a back up for Vlahovic.

Jesus and Zinc are great addition to Arsenal they bring quality and depth.

Sterling will be interesting I feel he’s very similar to Werner and Lukaku, so may have the same faith. But perhaps change in scenery might be something he needed.
