I think he'll still have a pretty good career but both him and De Jong got overrated way too early.

Also dint help that both went to teams who were beginning to decline and had an incompetent management to boot.

It seems like we are pursuing Ake along with De ligt, my gawd Chelsea obsession of buying players they already sold. Lukaku last summer, now Declan Rice and Nathan Ake.

From the rumors that I've seen Chelsea were interested in Dembele but they're deterred by his wage demands and injury record.

Be interesting to see who wins the race for Raphinha, i'd rather not renew dembele Very Happy

Dembele is alot better than Raphina in every department. It's a downgrade that's for sure. And for 70ME it's a very expensive gamble.

Dembele is a headless chicken, from what I've seen Raphinha plays more with purpose and he's more of a team player as Blue mentioned. I just hope that Dembele goes away, fed up with him, whoever his successor will be.

If you think Dembele is an erratic passer wait till I tell you what pass succ % Raphina has..... 69% and for someone who has registered at most 11 assists in a season that's pretty poor. Even Dembele had 84% last season and Barca fans get irritated when he misplaces passes. Dembele is also a much better dribbler than Raphina. In fact Raphina is only better a tracking back and that's because Barca have indulged and pampered Dembele just like they did with Neymar before him. If I were a Barca fan I'd see this move as a downgrade and not worth the pricetag especially since you are currently broke and can't afford to make anymore missteps after Ferran.

Barcelona will pay around 60 million euros for the Brazilian winger, and will be able to pay it in installments.

Newcastle United made a crazy offer to Raphinha and Leeds last night, but the player refused. His choice is Barça.

The club and Raphinha have agreed a salary of €6m net per season.

Chelsea were prepared to pay Leeds €60m in one payment, but when Barcelona offered €60m in three instalments for Raphinha, Leeds accepted Barça's offer.

We have a lot of hard working forwards, but lacking that little bit of individual difference maker. Reece James a defender has produced most of our individual brilliance, don’t think Raphinha is moving the needle.
