Fun fact: Alaves v Madrid had the same amount of goals scored as the total amount for the matches already played.

You’re missing the point Hala! We don’t have a salary load issue. We have a squad numbers issue. Ancelotti did the same thing as Koeman with Mariano, Odriozola and Odegaard. He did play Jovic, but I suspect it was to try to stir up some interest in him.

He has given up on Isco and Bale departures and plans to play both. As a side note, Bale wasn’t too bad at all yesterday. Isco didn’t get enough time to show anything.

Watching the first half made me realized for sure De Jong is definitely our best player now by a million miles, glad we got him.

Braithwaite deserves a lot of credit for the work hes done for us I guess, but vs the top sides he will disappear and be ineffective likely. Anyway, our right hand side still looks a bit clueless which is worrying.

We played good for first half of the first half and then it was boring after that.

One things Im really interested to see is how opponents now setup vs us with no more Messi, they definitely gonna park the bus much less and able to commit more forward and just defend deeper less in general.
