Fun fact: Nesta played for my local club after he let Milan. An absolute wtf situation but i'd appreciate even as rival legend. His partner in defense was another known name in calcio... Matteo Ferrari

we know that Nesta went abroad to have his last playing days so that is understandable lol

he was too loyal at juvetnus that he didnt want to play anywhere in serie a i guess ...

We have a big italian diaspora in Montreal

I guess it helps attract old guys from Serie A who want a last big paycheck. Also Marco Di Vaio played many years here, considered a club legend lol. The club is now affiliated to Bologna (same owner) and they loan us young players. I say "us" but i don't care much tbh
