When Kamala took over she seemed to have a message of "we're bringing back hope, optimism and good vibes", which led to the famous "brat summer".

I thought this message resonated. People were tired of being forced to choose between a narcissist and a senile man.

But lately she's gone back to the failed Biden playbook of "Trump is bad for democracy", which is true, but is also a) old news and b) not a reason to vote for Kamala but rather against Trump.

I feel strongly that Kamala's best strategy is to go "in the last 8 years politics has become divisive, violent and just plain exhausting. Vote for me and get a normal america back and get your mental sanity back". Give people a reason to vote for her and the change she represents.

That's not the strategy she's pursuing. I think she'll lose but I hope I'm wrong. We'll find out in a week.

I typed "Rogan Trump" on YouTube and the first autocomplete result was "Rogan Trump interview" and the first result was the entire interview. Ignoring the autocomplete, it gave a bunch of clips about the interview.

Just had a peek at it. honestly most of the interview was super boring stuff. i'm surprised Trump even accepted sitting down for 3 hours for this interview. Laughing

I'm not a Rogan listener but i know he leans right-wing so it was obvious he wouldn't ask him many challenging questions. but overall his style of just letting the guests talk uninterrupted doesn't fit these types of interviews imo.

Yea i listened to that part. he said the generals told him it would have been more expensive to transport the military equipment out of the country so they just left them for the Talibans. unbelievable Laughing

After Trump lost the election, he gave an order for the immediate withdrawal of all US troops. It was such a dumb thing to do that the Pentagon told him it couldn't be done. I'm not excusing Biden's role in this shitshow, there's plenty of blame to go around, but the idea that Trump would have handled the actual withdrawal any better is asinine.

A sign that you might be in the echo chamber. in all honesty i don't think it would have unfolded in any different way had Trump been in charge, Taliban was gonna take over the moment US started lifting soldiers out of the country, they saw an opportunity and took it.

Thats why you take the equipment out first piece by piece and then soldiers.

Biden inherited the withdrawal plan, extended it and the rest is history.

I remember 3 years ago when Biden made Kamala the "border czar" some people speculated he gave her an impossible problem to solve because he felt threatened by her. Not sure if it's true or not, but it might cost her the election too.
