Re: 2020/21 Premier League Discussion
I wouldn't take the scoreline to heart tbh. It was 2-1 with 11v11 and the red card was a joke. Playing with 10 men for so long distorts everything.

Feel sorry for Van de beek. Should have gone to a proper club rather than come to this circus tent.

If Spurs get Bale back up to speed, they could be a very dangerous side with him and Son running onto Kane's passes.

6-1 hurts no matter what, but I agree with this.
Red card at 28 minutes, and a joke of a red too...you might keep that game to 3-1 or 4-1, but the result is the same.

Unreal how good Kane's passing is. He is a complete forward man.

Spurs with the creativity of N'Dombele and Lo Celso in midfield + Kane's passing ability with Son & Bale on the wings, and fullbacks who are legitimate threats and love to get up and down the pitch. A lot of potential there.
If Jose plays his cards right, this could be a very dangerous team offensively. Defensively, I still think that Dier is an absolute wreck, and Davinson is inconsistent. Reguilon needs help on the left, and Dogherty is fine. They'll really have to defend as a team. As much stick as I give Jose, that is one thing he tends to be able to do pretty well.

Kane has transformed into Spurs' Ibra with his passing
Keep him and Son fit and they're making top 4
Just a result like this alone against a top 6 side should give them a huge psychological boost.

Re: 2020/21 Premier League Discussion
Reading what I've just written too, it makes you realize how badly Spurs needed a makeover. Both fullbacks, a DM, and two new midfielders since last year. Then you add Bale (who we haven't seen in action yet so we have no clue what he'll look like) and a backup striker.
It's inevitable but nobody should compare this Spurs team with Poch's. They're completely different teams. Reminder that N'Dombele basically didn't play while Poch was there last year for injury, and Lo Celso was also injured for the majority of Poch's games, so he functionally didn't really have those players available to him.

United defense was open like a nympho's legs before they got a red

Re: 2020/21 Premier League Discussion
so if Everton somehow manage to sneak in top 4, who would miss out this season ? So early in season but surely interesting possibilities there !
Three unbeaten teams in EPL right now are Everton, Liverpool and Villa. If Liverpool win against Villa today, what a huge will it be for Ancellotti and Hamez against Liverpool on the coming Saturday. Two remaining unbeaten teams facing each other and directly position 1 and 2

Ole might as well leave after this one. Not that any of this is his actual fault but for the very least, leave while one can still can.

Just to give any Spurs fan a note of caution: Bale couldn't get pass Jesus Navas so please do not have any high expectation of Bale getting back that ridiculous speed he once had.

Re: 2020/21 Premier League Discussion
dont think spurs will be particularly impressive this season (though it seems like nobody really will) nor do I think the red card changed the game all that much, we were clearly headed for a thrashing IMO. Ole out, but so much dead weight in this squad. Maguire, Shaw, Pogba, every other CB we own. Sheesh. Not going to be a pretty season. THe likes of Maguire and Pogba are considered undroppable by the clubt oo even though they fully deserve it. Shame.

Re: 2020/21 Premier League Discussion
Spurs have a GD of 7 and from that a difference of 5 got added today so we need to wait before we analyse too much in today's game. But I have been keep saying from last season, Mou will get it eventually right. He just needs to sort out his defence in the long term.

This terrible defeat might ba positive thing for United . Because I can't believe that Ole stays even now.
You've even a NT break , it's the proper / perfect moment for change.
Everything is prepared for Pochettino, otherwise it means Woodward supports Liverpool

He gets burnt by numerous players. Not exactly a good defender.
