2020/21 Premier League Discussion
The schedule for next season:
Spurs have it rough as they have a qualifier and the League Cup 3rd round in just two days of each other.
No winter break this year so December through to March is batshit insane for anyone still in the League Cup.
FA Cup replays have been scrapped, so there's that at least.
This doesn't factor in games being moved due to TV as well.
Gonna be fun seeing how the top teams throw the cup competitions. Might see a few u16 squads out there.

Germany. France. Italy. Spain. All represented in the European cup finals this weekend. Only 1 English team even made the semis. League 'race' last season was a joke. Terrible blow to the GOAT league argument.
Hoping this season is more competitive on all fronts.

I imagine they just want some fresh blood or singing people to cheaper contracts?
I honestly expected them to have been picked up on a hot mic bantering about something but doesnt seem to be the case

Re: 2020/21 Premier League Discussion
The Saturday 3pm TV blackout will be lifted when the new season starts, making it almost certain that all Premier League games will be available to be broadcast to British viewers until the return of fans.
The confirmation by the FA will allow the Premier League to change its position and make matches available to British viewers when the new season begins on September 12.

Get in ffs
Hopefully all games are on TV forever.

Re: 2020/21 Premier League Discussion
Mou doing a fantastic job this transfer season. Already secured Doherty (fpl legend), Hjojberg (the new Busquets) and is going after Reguillon.
Feels like I've been saying Spurs need a DM and 2 new FBs for the past 3 years and it took Mou to see it. Get a backup for Kane (Messi perhaps?) and this will be a GOAT summer for Spurs.
Reminds me of his 2nd summer at Inter when he brought in Sneijder, Lucio and Eto'o

Liverpool and Arsenal both have pretty difficult start to the season compared to other teams. I guess this is 5th or 6th consecutives times that Liverpool face Arsenal in the initial 5 fixtures
I am curious how this season would go for almost all teams because of a strange situation of the last season and short pre season. Squad depth will be the most important factor this season, specially for top 4 teams.

Looks like it's gonna take longer than usual for teams to get into game shape. Thus, the results in EPL in the first couple of weeks are probably going to be a bit chaotic
