I dunno why people are assuming he's going back.

I got the impression he's just done in Wrestling tbh.

Its because reliable reporters like Meltzer, Zarian and Sapp are all reporting his camp made contact with WWE.

Thats not even the biggest news from this week. Apparently, Stone Cold vs Kevin Owens is on for Wrestlemania.

If Cody goes back to WWE he'll be stardust again within 6 months.

The Stone Cold coming out of retirement one is just so weird. I won't believe it until I see it.

RIP Scott Hall Sad

It's sad how most of our childhood heros in wrestling don't make it past the 65.

RIP. I missed most of his run, didn't watch wrestling until the late 90s, only really know him from the WCW invasion angle and he wasn't involved too much. Know he was one of the GOAT's though and super influential. Man was is his 60s and his body was probably like 90 with all of the abuse it took

i'm still yet to see an organisation milk the shit out of a proper triple-threat feud besides TNA with AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels and Samoa Joe... AEW has a chance here to do something "Elite" with Adam Cole (heel), Adam Page (babyface) and Punk (legend) if they are smart enough.

Cody's improved a lot since he left, definitely a main event talent with the current roster.

Will be Stardust, or teaming with Chad Gable for the tag titles in 6 months.

MJF really is a generational talent.

Punk is going to be gone due to injury. It seems like Mox will win the interim title then they'll have a big unification match between him and Punk.

Not sure how this will play into MJF's storyline.

I think Danielson's gonna win. Punk vs Bryan at All Out would be huge.

EDIT: Scratch that, he's injured.

Steps down as CEO but will still have 'creative control' Laughing

So nothing really changes except for a slight dent on his image

He's just too rich and powerful to weasel his way out of this

Stephanie is the interim CEO so he's still running things behind the scenes anyways. Laughing

Although I'm not sure if anything big will come out of this. As long as it was consensual and he didn't use the company's funds he should be OK. Maybe the reported salary bump is what they're wondering about as well.

The greatest of all time

You know, i can see why he never turned heel. And i am glad he didn't. It's just not his character and never would have looked right.

What a speech last night. He is as good as retired and it's a shame we will never have another storyline with him in wwe. He was the last true WWE star. There will never be another.
