Done with Treme. My least favorite Simon show but its still good. Has some great character development over the four season. The showcase of institutional racism and corruption is very much like The Wire. Music is incredible. The first season was way too slow but the latter seasons were a far better watch for me after connecting with the characters. Liked all of the main characters as they were all complex, well written and realistic. With the exception of Davis ffs, what an annoying pretentious prick. Realistic but so unlikable.

Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 5
Yesterday I finished Community.
You can notice a good difference between first half and 2nd half ( 6 seasons totally, so I divide in 3 and 3).
The first one is better, the first 3 seasons take you towards a binge watching session, you'd watch many episodes in a row because it's so good and entertaining. The 2nd half isn't same, it mantains a good level but it doesn't reach same peaks than 1st half part.
Then I've found out there is a reason , his creator got fired after the 3rd season Shame , otherwise the overall level 'd have been even greater.
Anyway great show, Alison Brie confirmed to be my wet dream, cast at high level, it takes me to see differently the comedy genre. There's quality also here.

For more Alison Brie (who is a legitimately great actress), watch Mad Men (wife of Peter Campbell) and GLOW (lead). And of course Bojack but you've already watched that.

Yes, I had already watched Bojack ( Diane's voice ) !
yep I'm going to watch Mad Men , here not on Netflix anymore but on Amazon prime . Luckily I've subscriptions on both services. I've always used Amazon prime just for books , I 've snubbed movies or others but they've a good offer also there honestly. As in this case

So I finally got around to Twin Peaks. 4 episodes in. The choice of music kills me never heard Lynch use music like this.
I also already have a few favourites - namely Audrey Horne and Lucy Moran

I don't think it got a lot of buzz around here, but general the consensus is that it was a very well-crafted show with excellent characters and great writing. I personally loved it, but want to re-watch it.
