Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 3
Well, the title is boring, but if you are interested in creating or writing for television/film please make your way here:
If you could create a tv show what would it be about?

Downloading the first 2 parts of Klondike. Will be interesting to see how Richard Madden does in his first major post-GOT role.
Promos have looked really good for this miniseries.
Also will watch the pilot for Black Sails from STARZ. I'm expecting a pretty different take on this as its a prequel to Treasure Island, a children's book.

Yes same here Neal, will be watching Klondike in the next week once I get some time on my hands. Looks really interesting, and I love Robb.

Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 3
Black Sails' pilot episode was pretty damn good.
Captain Flint is played by the guy who was the bond villain in Die Another Day. The rugged pirate look suits him much better than the traitorous, smug playboy/megalomaniac.
Beyond him, the supporting cast are completely unknown to me, but based on the performances I saw, this is definitely a good thing.
Oh...and since its STARZ, obligatory sex and profanity are IN.
This is not your daddy's Treasure Island...

Just finished the pilot of this, and I got to say it's a very interesting one. The potential is through the roof because of the content they have to work with. The core base of actors are very solid but the supporting crew is a bit weak, however I think the story will carry them as this goes on.
And the fact that it's STARZ, well the sex and nudity always helps

Recommend everyone to keep up

Deathstroke on Arrow is bloody brilliant. Perfect actor for the role. Manu Bennett is an even better fit for his role than Stephen Amel. Loving the show atm. The comic fanboy in me is just fapping at season 2

Rick and Morty deserves more recognition than it's getting. Really hope it gets more than one season, but it's a legitimately funny show on Adult Swim, so chances are slim.

Yeah I've watched the first few episodes. You can tell it's from the same network as Person of Interest. I think it's good, but I want to see more of the back story. It's a little too procedural for my tastes.
Gotta love Sawyer and Red Riding Hood (for the closet Once Upon a Time fans) though

Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 3
Guys, I need help.
My favourite shows are Person of Interest, The Blacklist, Homeland, Almost Human, Intelligence, The Following(to some extent), Hannibal and a few others I can quite remember now.
If you notice the pattern, you'll know the kind of shows I love. Can anyone recommend any show similar to those that I can watch?
Oh and of course I love GOT & Spartacus but if there's any similar to those two that'll be worth it, I wouldn't mind either.

Arrow? Also Breaking Bad. It's kinda similar in a way and it's one of the best shows of all time.

White Collar is good if you need a show to watch while your doing something else.
