Was watching Office US videos on YouTube today and I was reminded how great this show is. One of my all time favourite definitely. Seriously considering a re-binging it from beginning.

Binged Bodyguard today
I don't understand the critical reception it got? It's just decent elevated by solid performance by Robb Stark and keeley hawes .
The twists were awful. Specially the last one. Really really bad. Made no sense. Actually the entire story didn't make sense. Quite laughable when you think about it.

Forgot he was Scottish ffs. Great actor.
Can't wait to hear what accent he has in 1917.

It's between him and David Tennant for best Scottish accent. Think it's the most pleasing accent in English tbh. Mcavoy also has a great one

Same here lol. Couldn't stand it beyond second episode. Don't know how it got good reviews. Keeley Hawes has nice ass though, credit where it's due.

I do agree 100%. The plot twist at the end was just completely absurd, and whole story eventually a heap of BS.
Well made and good to watch though.

Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 5
Ep 5 of s2 of mindhunter.
Does it get better towards 2nd half of season 2? Saw how it got better reviews than season 1 and honestly i don't see why as of yet.
I don't like it when TV Shows tries to bring in unnecessary subplots or romance in when it's not needed. Specially when it takes over what makes the show great. Feels like Holden is a side character now lol.
But i am sure it will all come together?

Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 5
Episode 7 now
The interviews are definitely the best part followed by investigations of real cases i.e Atalanta.
But rest is honestly really poor. At times the show gets so good (like with interviewing Manson and Kemper again) but the other time i feel like fast forwarding scenes (the awful awful subplot of Dr Carr).
They really pushed out Holden in season 2 so they can try build up other not so interesting side characters which is a shame. Even miss Holden's girlfriend from season 1 as she actually had a character.

Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 5
Finished it
It really didn't end up getting back to season 1 level. They abandoned most of the things which made season 1 so good. In the end it became a generic mystery show. Still a good watch though. Had some amazing scenes. The entire Dr Carr storyline was awful. Bill isn't that great of a character to give him so much screentime. Holden somehow transformed into a 12 year old with panic disorder who needs babysitting lmao?

Best casting of all time. The Gossip Girl parallels are so hilarious. Haven't seen season 2, but can imagine how it would get stale after a single season.

Yeah s02 gets kinda stale but its still fine. I got a big crush on Victoria Pedretti since Haunting of Hill House so her being there kept me hooked too lol.
Penn Badgley is amazing. Also very cool name.

Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 5
season 2 is still worth a watch IMO, but season 1 was legit great TV to me
prefer NY as a setting and also Elizabeth Lail is smoking hot (never heard of her before this show, will be checking out anything she appears in..in the future)
her friend peaches too
just preferred the cast in general for S1

You think Elizabeth Lail is hotter than Shay Mitchell (Peaches)?

Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 5
dunno, but I was surprised to find out she was in her early 30s, thought she was like mid 20s, it's tough tbh. I lean toward Peaches though.
in season 2 I didn't like Candace or Love as eye candy
