4 episodes into the Assassination of Gianni Versace
I have to say, it's been phenomenal.
Darren Criss as Cunanan has done an unreal job, and they really tell his story in depth
Penolope Cruz as Donatella Versace really looks the part, but it tough for me to hear her try an Italian, or rather Calabrese accent

Good to hear. I have this in my Amazon queue.

Yeah the Good Place is NBC's next big comedy hit after The Office, Parks & Rec, and 30 Rock.
Michael Schur is behind it so I knew it would be funny and wasn't disappointed. That cast has absolute no weak links. All are hilarious.

The Asian guy, Jason, is incredible. Such a hard character to pull off. Barely any redeeming traits, but it's delivered perfectly. Could have gone so wrong if the wrong guy was cast.
Kristen Bell is alsoa great straight woman in this. Kind of a Bateman role in this one.

Really thought I'd hate Jason's character, but he's grown on me and fast. I actually think Tahani's the funniest of all the characters, followed by Janet. This is the first TV show that I've watched Kristen Bell in so I believe the hype around her now. And she's from a town in Michigan that's like 15 minutes away from where I am

Counterpart is amazing. J.K. Simmons is brilliant in it. Anyone else watching it?

Watched the pilot a month ago or so, then didn't have time to continue. I just had to laugh because the main place of action is the old 1930s Berlin airport right next to my work.

Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 5
Found myself rewatching Dexter with someone.
Actually forgot what a crazy good show this was, the Breaking Bad of it‘s time. Great protagonist, great supporting cast (except for Debra), great storylines, great antagonists. I know it gets worse and worse after season 4 but I‘m thouroughly enjoying it.

It's one the most entertaining shows I've watched over the past decade. Wish they'd make more shows like that. I was never a fan of Debra, either. Loved the paranoid, black cop, though

It's great, just too bad the last two seasons ruin the overall feeling somewhat. Especially the last season was murder to watch.
There's going to be a Sopranos movie, apparently taking place in the 60's. Really hard to see the connection with the TV series when it's so far back. But it's Chase himself writing it (with another guy), so that gives hope, I guess.

Amazing shows.
Anyone watching Homeland? I thought it would've gone downhill after season 3, but season 4-to current have been amazing.

Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 5
if Dexter didnt have a shit ending it'd probably be my fav show of the last decade
I haven't seen the third season of Hannibal but the first 2 are absolutely maginificent. It's up there with all the other great TV series.
I think I will re-watch Justified soon too, just because Walton Goggins is in it. Best actor I've seen, ever
Also Sons of Anarchy... fvck, there's so many great shows I should re-watch
