Liverpool are favourites. You might look at the line up and think "wow" but the truth is very few of those players are actually playing to their level this season. You have the occasional superhuman performances of some players but the vast majority are treating this season as an obstacle for their WC. Our saving grace is that Ronaldo is back in form. But Kroos and Marcelo v Salah is going to be embarrassing. They are our two laziest players lately

It's not about the names. Getafe embarrassed our midfield, not to mention Levante etc. It's about who works the hardest. Why do you think Barca with their uber great team never got to 2 finals back to back? They met teams who wanted it more than them. Liverpool will be that team for us. It won't matter who starts if our players don't play with convictions we might as well pack it in because we aint winning shit. We have great leaders inc Ramos and Ronaldo who always work hard but a bunch of lazy players

Marca had a stat up that out of the 4 SF teams we were the team that ran the least and 5km less than Liverpool who run the most. You don't understand how much I want us to turn the heat up and play like we did last season but it ain't happening. This CL run has been a band-aid for an otherwise miserable season. Even if we win this CL it says more about the other teams than ours. I suppose our experience is what got us through and not the performances on the pitch. We survived on great first leg ties in all 3 knockout games

I can't wait till the WC is over. It's clearly the reason why some players aren't trying as hard as they should

What's laughable about our midfield? They have all been great in every big game this season.

It's going to be a very open game indeed, I expect something similiar to Bayern-Dortmund final, that was a great game. Let's just hope Klopp doesn't lose this time.

Not exactly a 'new' matchup but yeah, a fresh final considering only about 5-6 teams have been consistent in making the latter stages in the last 5 yrs or so.
