Madrid did the reverse on them in the Group stages in 2014

Not exactly a 'new' matchup but yeah, a fresh final considering only about 5-6 teams have been consistent in making the latter stages in the last 5 yrs or so.

Cant help but feel Ronaldo will do nothing the whole match in the final again, and then taps in or a late pen to win it to steal the show again

It's going to be one of those Real Madrid W's that will be rewritten like they were expected to win, like Brexit pundits weren't hyping up their coca cola cup players over the UCL GOATS, like the Egyptian Kevin Phillips was ever levels. Re watching the Liverpool vs Mancity match i think Liverpool is no where near the levels of the prime Dortmund. They can only really score from counter attacks and if teams dont push too much body forward they really have no options since their midfield is literally shit.

Mancity trio of Fernandinho-Otamendi-Kompany are so poor on the ball that Liverpool didnt get punished on counters. They were all very bad on the ball, they arent even better than Pepe on the ball and he is a terrible ball player. Casemiro-Ramos-Varane all are much better ball players and would be able to withstand the high pressing and pass out of difficult situations.

De Bruyne was also very bad as a deep player as he is not a central midfielder. I think we are much better than city and could really keep the ball against this Liverpool. First half will be important obviously but other than some massive fuk up by defenders like City did we will be safe. They are good but no where near as hyped, they just have not played great teams.
