Re: Liverpool's road to final
I see what you're doing here and you don't get to complain ever since Madrid won the CL with a road of roma, wolfsburg and a city team who stopped giving a shit months before.
That means you are banned for life from complaining about other teams Road to the final.

At least you remember the teams.I can't remember the other teams name who they played in r16.
Re: Liverpool's road to final
I think this year's final is going to be a rematch between Klopp and Heynckes.

Well, the only thing that can really be said about it is that they completely slaughtered a team that was "dominant" during league play and was heavily favored in the tie

Agreed.
Ffs people put City as one of the 'favourites' for the CL. Before the season started, you would've hardly thought of them as a top team that can make the semi-finals(or even the final).

Except anyone with a brain would have seen Liverpool smashing City. Or anyone who watches the Premier League.

Not quite sure how "your posts" = proof when you are trying to discredit a large group of people. I think anyone with half a brain knows that they deserve to be where they are now.

Yeah, what a ridiculous thread, Roma just beat Barcelona, who seem to be coasting to La Liga title unbeated (while also having Chelsea and Atletico in the group stage). Neither of Liverpool or Roma were likely to reach the semis of CL, but after all that's happened is a 50-50 tie.

Re: Liverpool's road to final
I know anything can happen in football, but I honestly can't see Roma getting past Pool. Not trying to disrespect the Italian side in any way; I think they have done enough already to earn our respect and admiration. But Klopp is not Valverde; he'll go all out and press the living hell out of them. It also helps that Salah is an explosive form and may single-handedly win this tie for the Reds.
Of course Roma is perfectly capable of causing an upset, but I don't think it's illogical or completely outrageous to think that Liverpool is the favorite here.

Stay calm, they peaked against Barca, you'll probably smash them both home and away.

Liverpool would have much better chances vs Real than vs Roma, as strange as that may sound.
Not because Real isn't the much stronger team, but Klopp revels in the underdog role, after all it's called "counter"pressing, not "for"pressing.
Roma can absolutely beat them if things go their way.

If nothing else, United beat Liverpool with long balls to Lukaku. Roma has their own big man. It's 50/50.

How many times have we seen all of UK predicting their teams will easily win, are the dominant force out there and then when they go against so called weaker European clubs and fall flat on their face?

Exactly.

Re: Liverpool's road to final
This thread would make sense if Bayern got Roma and was named Bayern's road to final. And as Mole said, your road to final in 2016 was beyond laughable.
Liverpool knocked out one of the favorites 5-1 while Madrid were on course to choke like Barca and then got saved by a Benatia brainfart. So pls go.

Especially because it has my first double digit upventus post that I can remember.
Hall of fame worthy imo.
