Fifa Club World Cup|Semi-Final and Final

We will be playing Cruz Azul who were the concaf champions tomorrow (16/12/14) and the final/bronze match in five days



We really dont need to play the first team here. I saw some highlights of the previous games, it was awful football. Granted they played in a lake but still

With both Barca and Atleti dropping points we can't afford a burn out. We should go as far ahead as possible so that when those teams finally click and start winning games we will be too far ahead to catch up to

I was hoping that Kroos or ROnaldo wouldn't be called to travel with the team, and given an early vacation.

It looks like the whole team is called up bar Modric and James who will no doubt probably be travelling with the team. Should be good for the spirit to have everyone there even if some may be rested. These games could be ideal for Jese who is just getting back in time for our tough February schedule

i hate the club world cup and other super cups, whether spanish or uefa. to me these are just overblown friendlies. will i want us to win it? ofcourse, but its another element of football i wish was scrapped (same goes for balon d'or). the idea of a club world cup is outdated imo. it had some value when there was debate about south american vs european football back in the day; but as time has progressed, it has lost its value.....i just hope our players return fit without any knocks

I like the club world cup. Whilst it's true that if you're the best in Europe by proxy you're the best in the world (hence why I get irritated by 'best in Europe' tag lines), there's still a certain level of prestige.

Also I believe we've never won the cwc. Would be nice to have it in the cabinet.
Reckon Khedira will slip on a banana peel in Morocco and will be out for the rest of the season.
Bale will be player of the tournament, just watch haha.

This guy is going to force us to play with our b team when all our starters inevitably get burned out when the real shit starts around march/april gtfo

I would've expected it to be the other way round. Play the back ups this game and starters in the final. Knowing Carlo though we are playing the starters in both games lol

San Iker ffs second game in a row there has been a penalty against us through a dive but Iker putting it straight with those easy saves

Some lousy passing from us. Illarra had a shaky last 5 mins which started with that awful backpass. Don't like this Ronaldo because when he is this desperate nothing goes his way and he becomes frustrqted and Benz tries to pass him no matter what and both end up losing the ball easily

Bale has had his usual game, run out of discriptive words to use. The dude plays in the midfield 4 yet its illarra helping Carvajal to defend give me Jese please

Bale... I don't think Bale is getting the message that we switch to 442... really, never seen a player with lower workrate. I've seen the heat maps for his recent games, it's laughable to say the least. But he scored goals, and foes a flashy trick every now and then, so he is covering it for now.

And Carlo by now just wants to see the whole team get cramps come the end of the season. if there was any time to rest players it this game. Kroos I understamd, we're short on midfielders, but Benz, Ronaldo, and Marcelo?

The referee of this game was changed after San Lorenzo complain the the previous referee would do everything in his power to make us win as if they had a chance of beating us

Their president has been shooting his mouth off calling Pepe a thug amongst other things. I usually don't want us to field our first team in thus kind of game but I just want us to manita them now and shut that pos up

This san Lorenzo side is so dirty. All they do is just kick our players and surround the reff everytime the whistle is blown. It doesn't help that it look like the reff is newly qualified with the way he has lost the game already from the first minute

Regarding us, we are losing the ball alot in the offensive third, its cringeworthy watching Bale and Ronaldo attempt one-twos because they never come off. I wonder why james and isco dont swap, both of them cut in when they get the ball anyways so it makes sense if they did. Hope Marcelo is ok but unless Carlo starts rotating more that sight is going to be very frequent during the remainder of the season

In other news, another game and another set piece assist from Kroos now he has exposed spanish, mexican and argentinian clubs for the fraud they are on set pieces. Soon it will be german then british :megusta:
