I'm just saying there's a lot more to the sport than just rings, i hate that mentality which has been breeded into the current generation that if you don't win a chip you're a bum.
It's really quite sad that we have devolved into such a black and white mindset.

Not everyone decides to pick to support the current Champions though.

Re: The Official Dwayne Wade <<<<<< you thread
Completely agreed with Mole, though don't advertise that position because on GL you'll get shit having an elitist "win something or the season is a wash". Been seeing this discussion a lot since people shit on Spurs for not having won a trophy yet, but if you ask Spurs supporters, they're having the time of their lives right now.
And why not? It's their best team in a while, they've usurped Arsenal completely as far as who is the objectively better team which is a huge deal for them (ended what, 19 years of St. Totteringhams day?), they're playing in the Champions League, and they're at least in the title race the last couple seasons. They've got one of the best strikers in the world and a quality team that plays good football. They should be happy, and they are.
Bucks fans know the team isn't big market, doesn't have the history (but that one ship tho), know they aren't a big FA destination, and know that the team is always in danger of missing out on the playoffs. To them, right now is a beautiful and enjoyable time to be a Bucks fan. They've got a rising star in Giannis who looks like he might snatch league MVP and is a really exciting player to watch (and is happy in Milwaukee). They've got ROY Brogdon, veteran Thon who is still improving, Jabari could be an all star but hasn't had luck, and Middleton is a great player as well. It's the strongest team the Bucks have had in some time, and now to add Bledsoe to it is just what Bucks need. More than that, the Bucks core is young. Bucks won't challenge this season, but they could next season or the season after that, especially if LeBron gets out of the East.
Other than Kidd and the fact that the team has some issues to work out atm (it's a long season), Bucks fans should be happy. They are happy. And why not? It's an exciting time to be a Bucks fan. We never get to be a projected top 4 team in the East

I was actually on the offense my dear leader of weakling teams.
My fandomship to the team with the championship has nothing to do with the choice of purely being on the winning side. We banded together like masses all across Chinatown, the great ruins of Zimbabwe, Icy Antarctica, to the Bay Area. We bleed blue and yellow, and through that we truly became Golden. And now we're in a state of Warriors where nobody can knock us off our perch.
Count your clouds and small victories, whilst we ride off to Valhalla with old Larry every single year.

Should probably not watch then. Korver just hit a pull up three with a hand in his face to end the quarter
Bucks would be in this easily if they just didn't foul. Jesus. Think Cavs had like 12 free throws that quarter. You're not going to stay in a game if you give them 12 fcking free throws in a quarter.

*bleep* dead
That match was cancer, don't know if I can watch this sport anymore after that. The first quarter it was ok, I was blaming the Bucks (as you can see by post history) on their fouling too much. The rest of the game was insane, and absolutely nothing on the other end. Cavs commentators are ass as well, slo mo showing Giannis getting hacked to all hell, no foul of course, and they can't stop going on about how good Wade's "timing" on blocks is.
Can't wait to have Bledsoe on this team. Cavs would have been roasted even with the refs help.
I'm not even that passionate about this game and I'm livid.

Knicks are now 6-1 in their last 7 games after starting 0-3. Porzingis literally carrying this team to playoffs.

Some really surprising results last night.
Philly won without Embiid which seems like a big deal, Dallas, Knicks and Sacramento all won.
And we are above . 500

yeah i was going to ask if the level in the league has averaged out in a way. It's still early but the records of some "good" and "bad" teams look the same lol

Re: The Official Dwayne Wade <<<<<< you thread
It's too early so variance is too high.
Cavs won't keep playing like this, same with Bucks on the lower end. Then you've got Magic on the higher end who, while definitely better than we thought, isn't going to stay where they are. It's too early to say much of anything beyond fire Kidd

I'm hearing from fellow New Yorkers it's a mixture of thing - one being that we are finally playing team basketball. Not saying Porzingis isn't playing a large role, however I was also in favor of ridding ourselves of Melo aka the black hole

Always love when they have main man Michael Rapaport on the shows.
Said from the holy start his shot is not gonna make it in this league.

Listing Michael Rapaport as fact.
Might as well use Bill Simmons while you’re at it.
His motion isn’t the problem. It’s his horrible footwork on the shot and conditioning. Also no one can get him spot up looks.
Expect it to go up in a couple of years.
He hit NBA range 3s with rugularity in college.
He jumps ridiculously much forward when he shoots. Lands like a meter longer forward than he shoots from

Obviously not as fact, nothing out there is fact, just as a heavily supported opinion.
I have to say though I don't think he will be bust. At least, not yet. He clearly has tremendous playmaking ability.

No I agree, just wanted to bring up Porzingis tbh. Knicks have an interesting young team, it’s only a matter of time until Ntilikina finds himself as a starter and storms the NBA for years.

Lonzo was hitting farther than NBA range in college fairly often tbf
Yes, that was a dagger three with the game on the line as well. The kids got stones, he'll figure it out in time.

Lonzo is so big, if he works on his finishing he can get 10-12 easy buckets per games going to the rim. His finishing is terrible right now . He is young, hope he is putting in the work

It's a bit sad to see how hated Lonzo is, it's like people can't wait for him to fail
It's his rookie year, what's going on with that? His shot percentage is garbage and that's concerning, he probably shouldn't get so many minutes but people need to chill.
