Lavar has not said anything for weeks.

It's because people want Lakers players to fail more than they want to celebrate anyone doing well.
Lakers give more clicks for their videos than a Philly players.

It's easy to see how much people want to hate on Lakers players.

Just look at how D'angelo Russell and Brandon Ingram have been talked about and treated.

I remember having to defend D'angelo for two years. He left the Lakers and now everyone seems to think he's good.

They're just feeding the people's lust for Lakers hate.

Also, it's not like people aren't talking about Simmons. But he should be celebrated. Amazing player.

The lesser medias are, but the likes of ESPN and such like are hardly talking about him tbh.

I shouldn't be that surprised actually, Suns were willing to take THAT Asik contract in a 3 team deal with Detroit which didn't happen.

They are horrible from top to bottom, might be worse than the Kings tbh.

I'm pretty happy and it gets Giannis some extra help which is huge. Bledsoe as far as a player is a clear upgrade on Monroe (I know, different positions, but just in terms of overall quality let's be real here) and is the type of player Bucks can really use since Brogdon isn't really a point guard and Delly has digressed from being a good back up PG last year into the worst PG I've ever seen this year. It was essential Bucks got another good ball handler and someone who can create their own shot since I'm coming around to the opinion that Kidd is a trash coach

Meanwhile, Bucks won't mind trading Monroe's huge, expiring contract for Bledsoe and a 1st, which, while valuable, is probably not going to be anywhere in the 10-17 range if the Bucks do as well as they should this year (not a given considering how they've started lmao).

It's a steal.

With that said, this only makes Bucks center problem worse. Monroe had stopped being a net negative when he picked up his defense to be alright-ish, and was a huge positive as a sixth man and ran the offense of the second unit through him. He actually became quite valuable to the Bucks.

However, having just Henson and Thon now...jeez. Thon has started the season badly and Henson has always been inconsistent and not very good. Henson has started the season decently but losing those minutes from Monroe will hurt. Center was already the Bucks problem position, this doesn't help in that regard at all. Bucks need Thon/Henson to step up or need to trade for someone.

Anyway I'm ecstatic.

It was essential that neither Brogdon nor Thon moved going forward for this team, and trading Middleton would have defeated the purpose of the deal, so Bucks pretty much lost almost nothing they wanted and got something of real value back.

I'm just saying there's a lot more to the sport than just rings, i hate that mentality which has been breeded into the current generation that if you don't win a chip you're a bum.

It's really quite sad that we have devolved into such a black and white mindset.
