Napoli have been remarkably lucky when it comes to major injuries like this. They did well in minimizing the impact of Milik's, but it'll be interesting to see if they can do that with Ghoulam without having to dip into the market.

I actually think Mario Rui's a pretty good full back. Just unlucky with tearing his ACL when at Roma and hasn't quite gotten a look in since. He was quite good in that Empoli team a couple years back so the talent is there. If his ACL holds up, this could be his chance to give Sarri something to think about.

Crotone came back to go 2-3 over Bologna.

Really exciting game, 20 min left.

It looked like Bologna had it wrapped up, then VAR. Made it quite an exciting match. First away win for Crotone in Serie A.

Poor Genoa, the oldest club (1893) in Italy lose three derbies in a row to newbies Sampdoria for the first time since 1958. Sampdoria who until 1946 were two clubs, Sampierdarenese and Andrea Doria.

Sampdoria thoroughly deserves these derbies wins.

Juve excluded, the derby sells lanterna is my favourite derby. Its always great and the intensity at the Marassi is top notch. Then again, Sampdoria has a place in my heart after Juve.

Always great.

6 fold acca on, Barca won. Got Juve, Inter and Milan for Serie A tomorrow.

I'm assuming the risky bet is Milan because they suck vs sass but surely with the pressure and sass being shit they have it bagged

Why would a neutral support a newbie hybrid club as a second club instead of Italy's first club from the same city. I don't understand.

Samp >>>> Genoa bro

Not to disrespect Genoa's prestige, but god damn is club is in total disarray. Current manager was fired last season and re-hired 2 months later... gives you an idea

Maybe because the "newby" club is 70 years old and the fact that Genoa is older means nothing at all in terms of liking it or not? Why would that even impact anything? It's not like Samp has no history or is some new club.

Samp>>>>>>>Genoa

From Mancini and Vialli to the present day, they've been so much more likeable.

If we lose to Sassuolo, Montella is out, i have it on good authority, though we will have Gattuso to replace until the end of the season

Can't believe Burdisso is still playing ffs. And not only playing but outpacing Icardi.

Good match so far. Both sides could have scored but Inter should have scored at least one.

Benevolence 2-1 Benevento

Meanwhile Napoli drops 2 points, i really think losing Ghoulam could be a turning point of their season. As we can see it affects their morale.

For me Genoa is more likeable than Sampdoria. I feel I'd be Genoano if I was from Genova.

Having said that, they were relevant until  '20s years  , just a brighter Pro Vercelli .. but they were always a small club in postwar period ... and Sampdria reached higher levels, included European victories , CL final and a Scudetto when Serie A was in its prime..

Frankly losing 3 derby in a row is nothing compared to play for 33 years in Serie B ....
