It's at times like this I like to remind everybody that my pessimism over Juve in the Summer was justified.

Nah I wouldn’t go that far. Not yet anyways, let’s also remind ourselves that many Milan fans were so optimistic of their chances and now they’re closer to Benevento than to the CL and don’t even post here.

We definitely didn’t deserve the 3-2, we missed a couple good chances at 0-0, Sampdoria’s goals were mostly avoidable.

Honestly, we sucked. No two ways around that one

Too much chopping and changing every year, and this was the year we finally *bleep* with our own back line. How we went into the 17/18 season with Benatia and Licht/MDS making up 1/2 of our back 4 is just beyond me. Not to mention often choosing to line up with *bleep* Asamoah and Mandzukic on one side, which in essence means we're 2 men down on most of our attacks because Mandzukic needs Alex Sandro on his flank.

We've conceded 14 goals and it's mid-November rofl

For reference, look at how many we conceded per season for the last 6 seasons.

Benatia has played less minutes than any other CB not named Howedes if I'm not mistaken. RB I'll give you but MDS has looked good enough when he's played, just been injured.

Mandzukic/Asamoah have definitely played too many games. Got away with it against Milan and both were actually two of our better players (somehow) but its a god awful combination

We've also scored more goals by the same period and pretty sure the points total would actually be the same

Benatia was starting the important games until he literally imploded on the pitch, he was just that extra bit worse than everybody else.

Granted we're scoring for fun but it's not a good trade off in Serie A considering unless i'm missing a season, the best defence every season since 2012 (Us) have won the league

Defence doesn't win CLs, which means hopefully we can fluke a CL whilst playing like shit in the league I guess Laughing

Benatia played a fair deal last season too though, in the exact capacity even. I'm not saying I like him but blaming our fourth choice CB seems peculiar at this stage, given he didn't play today even

That 2012 statistic is a bit skewed especially when you remember how our teams have been built since 2012 versus now. We started with a 3-5-2 with Vucinic and Matri up front. Now we've literally said *bleep* it and were playing a 4-2-3-1, with Pjanic in a double pivot and four attacking players Laughing

Were not winning the CL tom, I think that ship has sailed with the current group. Maybe if we get a favourable draw (assuming we can even advance from group play), then we can make a decent run but we definitely, at this time, do not play like a team that could challenge for this cup.

Winning Serie A is always the objective and it gets that much more difficult every season. Maybe its our season not to win, maybe it isn't, these things are never decided in November and were not far enough off the pace to make such a conclusion based on how good our team is

Blaming Benatia today is pointless when he doesn't even play.

The ones who failed us in defense today were Licht who was just ball watching and getting beat for 3-0 and Szczesny who conceded a long shot on his post, way too slow to react. Licht keeps costing us goals. We need to make the RB rotation MDS/Howedes and see how that goes. Sell Licht in January if need be.

Nothing is decided in November we all know that. Still, we are bound to loe a league and this one always looked to be the most likely one. I think we all agreed on that since the beginning.

Missed the match and now i see this shit result. Could have lost 3-0 which is beyond laughable. Did we play dogmatic 4-2-3-1, again ?

With winger Mandzukic and shit ?

We played a 4-2-3-1 with wingdzukic, Bernardeschi #10, Cuadrado supporting Hungry Ian

Missed a few sitters in the first half (Cuadrado + Higuain), conceded one of the worst goals in Juve history in the second and then the rest is history

Now i've had enough, time to sit on the bench

Playing Windzkukic only for the sake of it... only works against the likes of Benevento/Milang.
