One of the most underrated Italian players ever.

To think Dundee United made a semi final of the European Cup. I honestly do not think we'll ever see a Scottish side make the semis of the CL anytime soon, far less for Dundee.

Anyway, really nice article by Goal's writers.

honestly thought that a typo at the time Laughing I don't think we will see a Scottish team make it to there again in our lifetime tbh.

I shouldn't be picky about shirt sponsors, but I don't like this sponsor. That said, it does look great on our shirt.

Agreed. We need all the money we can get right now while the stadium still needs to get built. Qatar wouldn't have been my first choice, given what's going on there in prep for 2022 WC, but apparently the deal they offered was among the more lucrative ones offered to an Italian club and several times more than Roma has ever received. A no brainer for our brass.

Haven't Rangers played a semi-final at the beginning of the 90s ? Other times though, I remember when they were close to sign Ronaldo in 1997 lol then he went to Inter ...

Nope, they reached the 2nd and 1st round in the European Cup in '91 and '92. The CL, they made the group stages. You can thank Google for this info.

They did make the final in the UEFA cup in 08 though.

Allegri went ballistic with the reporters post Napoli. He, in a typical Livornese accent, tells the reporters that Juve play 57 games a year and the rest exit (the cups) in November. A bit of hyperbole. But he is criticizing Napoli's apparent intentional exit from the CL and EL.

I remember when  he scored us on 80' in San Siro that 1-2 but after Seedorf tied for us on 90' scored directly from midfield

That was an Epic Derby d' Italia played on Saturday too as it will be now

"That's why I've sold Salah"
Uefa bonds obliged us to sell him within 30 June. Othewise we couldn't play CL this year. Bid was around 30 , and I got to arrive on 50. Anyway it's clear that Liverpool got bid deal"

FFP only exists in Italy with clubs that are unable to inflate their own income to circumvent such policies

Between the Qatar shirt deal, the upcoming Hyundai shirt deal and the stadium, that should be enough to get us out from under FFP within the next couple of seasons.

I hate having to sacrifice our best players to that financial kraken.

It’s expected that this weekend’s Inter-Juventus game will break the Derby d’Italia record for gate receipts, with 10,000 away fans expected.

It’s a crucial match for both sides, as the hosts are battling for a Champions League place, while the Bianconeri have just a one point lead over Napoli at the top of Serie A.

Saturday night’s match will be a sellout, with today’s Corriere dello Sport reporting that gate receipts will be in excess of €5m, a new record for the fixture.

Around 10,000 Juventus fans are expected to make the trip for a match which could be crucial in the title race, while this could be Gianluigi Buffon’s last match at San Siro.

I may miss this game ffs

Best league in the world undoubtedly. When other leagues are done and dusted, this league is still keeping people on the edge of their seats. Never want to hear any dimwit mocking it anymore. Been a long time closet supporter of the league myself. Also now is the time where fake people claiming to be following the league will sprout in large numbers like wild mushrooms. Stay away from them. That being said, pretty excited about today's Inter vs Chile matchup.
