Don't worry, its a shorter list to mention teams that Milan actually manages to beat rather than loses to.

Smashed rivals Chievo a couple weeks back if you missed it

Just looked at the highlights on Hoofoot while they are still available... less embarassing than i thought at first. Bad day at the office that's all.

1st goal is absolutely poor. Sczezny, Asamoah and Bernardeschi was the worst defending combo i've ever seen from Juve. Fun fact is... 10 more minutes and we'd win 3-4, or at least draw.

Sampdoria has no mental to kill the game, we kept running and trying till the very end.

He's a Milan fan, he had to go back to the last time his club was relevant. The only thing they can talk about is historical CL wins when their club has. They've basically become Liverpool

Juve should've gotten a CM instead of Berna, Costa can play CAM as i've seen him play their before in division 1, Dybala and Higgy upfront, Pjanice, Tolisso and Marchisio. Would've been spicy

Here is me being serious...

CL is a dream for us, something we might never achieve again. Maybe i'll be dead and eating plants by the roots and we still haven't won. People laugh at us for this and it's ok.

Juventus is the queen of Italy, not the queen of Europe. Being relevant in Champions League combined with a league title is sufficient, that's our yearly target. Anything below that is a disaster.

While Milan NEEDS to perform in Champions League otherwise they are the equivalent of Roma with more money. 2 championships won this millenium.

Douglas Costa is clueless, he's a 1v1 player and that's it. Cannot cross to save his life. Overall Bernardeschi is much, much better.

I've said it before
2017: first year of transition (taking out the trash)
2018: second year of transition (complete the new core of the team)
2019: third year of transition (replace Higuain mostly)

So this year all Juve fans expected to have problems, it's true even if no one believe us.

How do you 'complete the new core of the team' when you have Chiellini, Buffon, Barzagli, Marchisio, Khedira, Higuain, Lichsteiner all pushing on the wrong end?

The reactions are quite commonplace though. This is standard procedure whenever a big team loses. The upside to all this, just 4 points behind a team (Napoli) that isn't known to be hardened Serie A winners.

Jjuve ain't 9 points (Man Utd) or 10 points (Real Madrid) behind their closest (and hated) rivals so it's still quite manageable. Jjuve did lose to Sampdoria though and by lose, they got beaten properly.

Then 50 for Douglas Costa ffs a he looks like a  poor version of Cuadrado
Bernardeschi is not a difference maker atm  ,though if I expect to play his  good matches in future

MDS wasn't legit because he grew up in Milang's toxic atmosphere. Juve will turn him into decent player.

Douglas (40m) was also a mistake, it's true. I dislike him.

Kaladin wrote:How do you 'complete the new core of the team' when you have Chiellini, Buffon, Barzagli, Marchisio, Khedira, Higuain, Lichsteiner all pushing on the wrong end?

Well, quite simply: Barzagli, Marchisio, Lichtsteiner have had their roles greatly reduced this season. Lichtsteiner is not even with the CL squad for the second year in a row. Marchisio's injuries have seen him take a large step back over the last two seasons, despite looking very good when he does play.

Buffon is in his last season and behind him is Szczesny who was a starter and a top one in Italy last season compared with Neto who we had last season who was neither.

Rugani has seen his role grow and has played more minutes than anyone in Italy. Caldara is set to join us next season as it stands so this area is seemingly covered. Chiellini will still play beyond this season for sure.

Higuain is will be 30 this season, he's as good as ever. In fact, he may even be better than last season, he's quietly putting together a great individual season. He hit 24 in Serie A last season and 32 in 55. So far he has 8 in 12 in Serie A and 14 in 22 overall, including 6 goals in his last 5 matches. He's playing for that World Cup spot for sure.

We've also brought in younger players. MDS, Bernardeschi, Douglas Costa, Bentancur. That's 4 players with the oldest being 26? Pretty good. Not amazing but it's the start only.

But its unfair to say it is a transitional season. We've replaced key figures in each of the last several seasons and we didn't speak about it similarly, so I will not start now. The team is definitely still built for now, with shades of tomorrow being considered, as all top teams should be built.
