Career spend on transfers:
Mourinho - £1.18 billion.
Guardiola - £850m
Wenger - £732m
Conte - £440m
Klopp - £284m
Pochettino - £232m
i'm surprised klopp has spent that much, then again maybe cos i've hardly followed his bundesliga time/career. wenger i can understand, he's been managing for a very long time, 2 million here 4 million there, 10 here, and some high amounts like the 40 for ozil, and the price for alexis, i get it, over 20 years managing, yeah i understand that.
lol guardiola and mou though, 850 million, he hasn't even been coaching for ten years lol, and he took a sabbatical, even. mou too, lol, 1 billion? dang....i guess "tacticians" really need these players

Yes, Jose and Pep tend to spend a lot quite often. But I don't get this idea among football fans that if you can't make shit players produce legendary performances week in week out then you're not as good a manager. No matter what tactics you use, sometimes some players are just shit and there's nothing you can do about it. Can't make a horse roar, can't make a cat bark.

More than that, many of these top managers take on positions at big clubs with the idea that they'll be able to build the squad their way.
The list is flawed because it fails to consider the idea that the reason these managers have spent the most is because they've also managed a greater number of clubs. Like no kidding that during Mourinho's two tenures at Chelsea, stint at Inter and Real Madrid he spent money. The same goes for Guardiola.

Mr Nick09 wrote:According to Spanish sources, Chelsea have contacted Madrid about Bale, and Madrid are listening due to their advanced contact with Mbappe and the fact that they might need to sell one of the BBC.
They also explain that the bad relationship between man utd and Madrid is the reason why moi made those comments to bale "I can't sign you because you don't talk" ie unless Bale does ask that we negotiate with united we won't deal with them. They also mention that Mourinho is aware Chelsea are talking to Madrid.
Hazard-Morata-Bale
why you gotta be a tease like this. why you teasing me?
if we could sell off bale and replace with dembele THIS summer.
would be considered one of the best transfer windows if legit.
Re: 2017/18 Summer Transfer Rumors Mk. I
yes some players are just shit but 1 billion euros in 17 years as a coach? technically 13, cos most of his spending spree started at chelsea. 840 million in 9 years? even if this is the era of madness for transfers, a lot of problems on the field can be solved with that kind of money. btw mourinho is part of the reason for this hiked market, he started the era of signing substitutes/back up players for huge fees
all i'm saying is those numbers are interesting, especially for the number of years they've been coaching, and the bulk of those signings have been their signings, very rarely is it management. ferguson spent a lot too, all top coaches have spent.....but almost a billion euros and a billion euros? with the resources, the talent, u'd have to be a buffoon not to achieve any success

The only way we'd sign Bale is if he went on the cheap, which he won't.
Chelsea paid what they had to for Morata because we needed Morata, we don't need Bale.
Bale would be more like the James deal than the Morata one.

It's not that Chelsea fans wouldn't want Bale. He'd be an unreal addition to our attack. No sane Chelsea fan would say they prefer Pedro/Willian to Bale.
But we're trying to spend big on Alex Sandro after spending big on Morata. It's very unlikely that we'd spend big AGAIN on a Bale, especially considering we have to buy a third striker, a RWB and a CM before the window closes.
And then there's also the small issue of Bale's connection to Spurs, although that may not matter but I think he'd want to go to United if he's coming back to England rather than piss off Spurs fans. But maybe that one is a stretch.
Anyway, that's the reality of things. I'd be completely shocked if Bale to Chelsea ever happens. It's a nothing rumour imo.

Exactly. If Madrid agree to give us Bale on a deal like the James to Bayern deal then it will probably happen. But we're not shelling out 80 odd million for Bale or whatever it is they'll be asking for.

Agreed, I'd gladly take Bale on a two year loan with an option to buy for 45m

GLADLY. Imagine pulling that off and then pulling off Matic + 30m for Sandro. Would be the best transfer window we've ever had. But neither of that is going to happen tbqh

Well there's no reason to want to let Bale go unless you're desperate to sell him lol so if those rumours are popping up and they have some teeth then maybe you in fact are. Seems like you guys are really desperate to get golden boy Mbappe.

Re: 2017/18 Summer Transfer Rumors Mk. I
james was lower than morata in the pecking order as far as starts are concerned last season. if we sold morata for 80, why would we do loan with option to buy for bale? as far as mbappe, he's good for his age i guess....but i really can't comprehend this staunch desire for him. monaco are doing what's right by trying to cash in. but this kid isn't even 19. i wonder if the market will ever stabilize or if 70 million pounds starts to become the norm for above average to good players

The Market is never going down, it never has and never will.
I also said I'd take a deal like James for Bale, not that it is likely

Bottom line, Bale to Chelsea for big money is never going to happen. We have other needs to address.

What exactly is Barca DNA? Does he crowd referees frequently asking for yellow/red card to opponents?

Having Barca DNA: being someone who takes initiative, plays the ball rather than waits for it and always looks for the opposition’s goal.
Thats how its described on Barca's official site, no kidding

Lol after Chelsea-Inter, most United most fans on Redcafe want Perisic , while before he was loathed
That' s why most English ppl don't watch Serie A and everything is based on prejudices, then it happens that Perisic destroyes best English team in a friendly match and the opinions are twisted. It's hilarious tbh
It 'd be enough to log in on Goallegacy to know the International football with a good degree of accuracy IMO.
Anyway Spalletti said that he is intended to oppose to sale just yesterday , that's my hope
Di Maria - Bale bids made by United are fake no ?
