Firenze mate the diminutive player in PL is a myth long debunked after the hordes of us Spaniards dominating the league Silva is 5'6 and near as frail and does spectacularly. Just one example.

Plus Verratti is small but stronger than he looks along with the fact you forget Ligue 1 is a very physical league.

Lemina is getting sold

Sturaro is a squad player

Khedira and Marchisio both have their own fitness issues even though the former has played a lot of minutes this season

Besides Fabinho can play across multiple positions. Exactly the type of player we like. Would be a great buy tbh.

Yeah Lemina will gtfo. Sturaro is now playing LM in that line of 4. He can fill in random roles. Pjanic, Khedira, Marchisio + New Guy will be good.

If you mean the player, he is above the pecking order over Sturaro and Lemina in midfield. He'll likely be there for depth.

Fabinho is basically done and dusted. There's only one person on this forum that will be hyping him next season as he dominates in the CL.

If we show any concrete interest, he's going to be pretty much a done dealio. Depends on how concrete our interest is. No doubt Juve would be his first choice if he leaves. I bet he is dying to play alongside his idol Dani Alves.

I know you guys don't really watch Monaco and just follow the hype but I hope you understand Fabinhobis more of an attacking CM right? Cause if you sign him so he can protect your défense and cover Pogba you will be disappointed.

He's not an attacking CM.  He plays DM or B2B for Monaco depending on the system they employ.  Made his mark moving from fullback to DM.  He's naturally a B2B though since that's really what you do as a fullback when you think about it.

He was moved to compensate for Toulalan leaving and bringing on Sidibe.  He was doing fine at fullback. He got his first look at DM when Toulalan was getting injured in his last season at Monaco and they moved Fabinho there out of need... he looked good obviously.

Except that it's how it works.  Wingers, fullbacks and B2B positions are much easier for people to transition around than other positions because of the real estate...  roles are very different.  But at least you don't have to figure out where the heck you are.  It also depends on the type of player you are too obviously.  To transition from defense to midfield and even moreso the attack, you need to have a certain level of technique.  As kids, the more technical guys are put on the attack and the least technical ones on defense... just how it is.

I was put in as a defender so you all know lol.
