Because Hans has no idea about what he's talking about. He doesn't rate Firmino at LFC and is vocal about it without shame which basically shows how much he knows about the team in general.

The problem with GL is that some LFC fans were so vocal on this forum overrating every player which now means actually decent players get shafted by GL purely because of hate and childhood memories associated by non-LFC posters at GL.

Mbappe was "Injured" and did not make the match squad. Is he gonna move this summer? Thought PSG-NIKE was done dealio.

Kovacic has been linked to Juventus for like 5 years. Would sign him for sure though

I've been following him and his time at Real. He looks five times the player he was during his time in Italy. Him and Pjanic would be like Diet Kroos and Modric for Juve, won't happen though.

It also wouldn't really make sense with the current group of players, it benches one of Higuain, Dybala, Bernardeschi, or Douglas Costa. Not to mention Mandzukic.

Really can't talk about "coulds of business" as a fan.
If we don't get any more players which are CL level in this window, I can safely assume either we don't have enough power or Klopp doesn't rate them enough or the transfer don't seem realistic enough to him.

Last time in the CL we got:

Ricky Lambert
Adam Lallana
Emre Can
Markovic
Lovren
Origi
Moreno
Balotelli

The only players who could were CL level in 2015 in this list were Balotelli (But he didn't change), Origi (But we loaned him out the same year) and Moreno ( Who turned out dogshite).

Liverpool can't get Lemar or Draxler lol.

Draxler is self explanatory and Arsenal have been trying to sign Lemar all summer but Monaco are not selling for less than 70m plus he's not what Liverpool need anyway.

Is Candreva a decent player? Not sure why we're going after a 30 year old that looks average as shit. Maybe it's just me.

Candreva has the GOAT crosses, the best in the league by a lot of distance. It's basically his one top skill, 10 assists in the league and its probably all from crosses. For the rest he is all work rate.

But having great work rate is a good thing, isn't it? It's not something we should neglect. Candreva is a very good player, not really world class, but he can be very useful. At least, this is how we know him from the past.

Yes of course, having work rate is great. I just meant that after the crosses and the work rate there is not much top quality there. It's why Conte really liked him in the NT. He is tactically smart and never stops running back and forth to defend and attack.

For sure a useful player, just not WC or anything like that. He is sort of like Pedro in his directness and effort, but if Pedro is more of a forward then Candreva is 100% winger.

He has a bit of dribbling, decent passing, great crosses and runs forever.
