i always think it funny when an agent is blamed for a player's decision. Agents work for players not the other way around, so if Donnarumma wants to go to Madrid, Raiola will work to make that happen. If he wants to stay, Raiola will work for that to happen...

Yes, thats what i've been saying all this time. Some Milan fans are trying to spin it as Raiola hypnotizing him, but that clearly isnt the case now. I'll admit i had a seed of doubt, after the last U-21 game it seemed that he actually wanted to stay. But, its a facade, like all his actions. Rather just move on from this saga, sell him or whatever, the relationship is already negative with the club and fans.

seems like the alternative in case Keita move fails. And I think Ox is my favourite player in Arsenal shirt and saying this from last 2 yeaes now. I doubt that in the end Arsenal will sell him to us so easily unless we throw silly amount of money. Klopp will turn Ox into a real Ox like force for our midfield for years to come. Occasionally we might see him in front three just in case Salah/Manre are not available.

I doubt Ox is the alternative to Keita. I think he is in addition to Keita.

Ox would be cover at multiple positions (both wings / CM). Coutinho will likely be deployed at CM in most matches next season, which puts us very light for wing depth. It’s more likely that we will target he and Gelson Martins for wing depth. Ox likely preferred due to familiarity with the league and versatility (not to mention the ridiculous price quoted for Martins).

Not sure why Pool would like Ox. I mean isn't it obvious from his inability to break out that he's really not that good? He's got flashes here and there but that's it. You could get those same flashes from someone like Shaqiri. Consistently makes the wrong decisions, also like Shaqiri.

I'd sell him if I were Arsenal tbh. Usually shouldn't sell to a rival but I'm not sure Oxlade improves Liverpool much at all Laughing

Oxlade-Chamberlain has improved a lot this season CB.

@donttreadonred, I think Helmer is correct because Oxlade-Chamberlain wants to play in midfield, which is why he wants to leave in the first place-- Arsenal have used him as a rotational player (RW, RWB, LWB and CM) for years and finally wants to settle as a CM. If Wenger promises him a starting place as a CM then he stays imo, otherwise he's off.
