Re: 2017/18 Summer Transfer Rumors Mk. I
According to Spanish press City are close to reaching a deal with Monaco for Fabinho. Wonder if he will play fullback or CM
My money is on fullback since he said even he prefers to Play as RB. Now City need to focus on a left back. They could very much sign Mendy, Alex Sandro would be more complicated

Coquelin - Lemina next season
Would be more than happy to take that money for him. I defended him for a long time but he had quite a few chances this year, didn't show anything special. Really depends who we could get as a replacement honestly. (I still rate him higher than Sturaro, Rincon)

Re: 2017/18 Summer Transfer Rumors Mk. I
Personally would stay away from all Monaco players this summer (and ofc Mbappe is impossible so). City, as usual, continuing their trend of buying season's flavors.
Also, at this rate Monaco would lose at least half their squad going to next season.
Fabinho (and Mendy) - City
Bakayoko - Chelsea
Mbappe - Madrid
B Silva - Barcelona

Di Marzio wrote: Juventus is already thinking about the future, and Agnelli's club has upped their interest in Patrik Schick. Juventus is having positive contacts with both the player and his agent. Pavel Nedved, who strongly admires Schick, has become important in attempts to convince the striker. But even Sampdoria has seemed willing to cede in negotiations, although they would like to keep Schick for another year on loan. However, the player's entourage is not convinced about staying another year at Sampdoria.
Contacts continue with Juventus as they are ahead of the competition in the race to sign Patrik Schick even if the deal has not yet been completed. Paska, the player's agent, will be in Italy next week to evaluate the situation. Sampdoria has a buyout clause of 25 million, and clubs will negotiate the specific terms of the payment, if a deal happens to materialize. Napoli attempted to do so, but there would not be much space for the striker in Naples. Inter and Roma also made attempts, but Schick is pushing for a move to Juventus.

Oh so that's why West Ham were linked recently lol.
Obviously they don't have a chance in hell but the mere fact they can afford that means they are going to be linked.

Would be awesome to partner him with Alexis and Mesut but it'd be pretty hard to convince him to leave CL football for EL

He just signed it/is about to sign it. The details aren't clear yet but the clause is real. There is some buzz going around that the clause kicks in 2018 and its only valid outside of Italy. The context is that while Mertens himself wants to stay, his wife (famously) didn't want to stay in Naples. I guess this is their way of having an easy way out just in case.

Re: 2017/18 Summer Transfer Rumors Mk. I
imagine thinking Milan have a chance at signing Keita
they are a nothing team nowadays
pumped up from signing jabroni's like Kessie and Mustankio
Keita will have a lot of far better teams that will pay him far more after him this summer
likely Loserpool

hmm, if the clause doesn't kick in until 2018 I could believe it then, makes sense

Yes it makes sense that way, he is basically committing for 1 more season and then they'll see. Here is the link from Sky Italia

contract until 2020, clause of 30m, from 2018 and on.

Re: 2017/18 Summer Transfer Rumors Mk. I
Milan's meeting with the German deal broker Petralito was for Aubameyang. BVB's initial request is €70m but could be lowered [@DiMarzio].
Milan consider Aubameyang one of the main alternatives for Morata (primary target) and Kalinic (the most feasible name) [Di Marzio].
Aubameyang is not willing to go to China and not attracted by a PL adventure. Real Madrid and Barcelona are not interested in the player too
PSG have not started any direct contacts with BVB for Aubameyang. The main obstacle is Aubameyang's father high demands.

Seems like the perfect profile for Pep's inside fullbacks concept.
If City fails to sign Alex Sandro, I can see them making a move for Grimaldo as well.
