Spurs will probably beat us, we will beat Arsenal, City we will probably drop points againstwith our injured squad, all comes down to Pool dropping points to either West Ham or Soton and I don't see it
I give us a 35% chance atm, but if we can get 3 pts against City it goes up to 70

Simeone? Lmaoo. I'll eat my arm without seasoning if he goes to Liverpool. If for any reason he leaves Atletico, he's definitely going to Inter.

You're right. But Inter have money to give him too. Not to mention he played for Inter. I don't believe Liverpool will shell out Mourinho/Guardiola money just to get Simeone. Anything short of that, Inter can match.

I don't see Simeone going to Pool but him going to Inter if he leaves Atletico isn't a lock at all, he will be courted by europe's elite if/when he moves. Inter are fairly irrelevant and have been for years. I don't see him taking on a passion project at this stage of his career. Maybe when he's flopped at a few clubs.

could see Simeone at Spurs when Poch leaves tbh. Poch will be a future Madrid/Barca manager.

The last thing Spurs would want to do is hire a very defensive manager after years of Poch. Won't happen. I don't think he should go there either. Doesn't seem like a good fit.

I don't see him going to elite clubs tbh. He'll stick with clubs like Atleti, Inter, etc.

We're definitely going to lose 1 of our remaining 4 matches. Possible 2 of them.
The club is made of perennial bottlers and has had the culture for years. So unless other clubs keep dropping points and basically hand us top 4 we're gonna keep giving you chances to take it from us.

Simeone's whole career is a passion project. He was the one who even mentioned Inter in the first place.
He probably can't/won't go to:
City (Pepsi)
Chelsea (Conte)
United (Mourinho)
Bayern (Ancelotti)
Juve (not happening)
Madrid (definitely not happening)
Barcelona (nope)
PSG are the only likely ones from the big teams right now. Inter is very probable.

Re: English Premier League '16-'17 Discussion - Part 13
Why do people assume he won't go to an elite club if he leaves?
He went to Atletico because they were the best choice available to him, easy to forget that he was a complete nobody as a coach before Atletico and had a very mixed record.
There's no actual proof that he'd go to Inter or anything like that.

I think he stays at Atleti for at least another year. He isn't joining Inter, maybe he said that years ago. He's established himself as an elite coach while at Atleti and can now choose whoever he wants if the job is there. I do think he joins Inter one day but not immediately after Atleti, such a step down.

Inter are such a hot mess atm. Maybe if they are stabilised, there could be a chance he goes there but not right now where the club is in a hopeless situation apart from having Chinese money. They'll be lucky to get Spalletti or some similar level coach not an elite one like Simeone.

Re: English Premier League '16-'17 Discussion - Part 13
Spurs?
Spurs will never be at the level where they could attract a coach like Simeone. Maybe if they make some changes and actually start winning trophies consistently for the next couple years while building a new stadium and looking like they could establish themselves where Arsenal had been. Let's be honest though, that's not happening.

the top 4 of the PL (and Spurs are becoming consistent at it) is an attractive destination for any manager in the world, hell Klopp's stock was damn high and he went to Loserpool. It's fast becoming THE destination to be.
Best league in the world etc.
