Paul Pogba, the biggest fraud of our time?

Jesus, every time I watch united this guy has looked disinterested. He's lucky that he managed to play in a midfield and a side in general that was tailor made to suit him perfectly. He's not particularly energetic, his passing has been mediocre and his vintage long shots have mostly been... shit.


Is he just struggling to adjust to his surroundings, or is he indeed the biggest con artist of our times?

He is just kid, needs to be given couple of years and 20 million dollars before we can judge him.

He's been shit post XMAS but he did have a good period before that garnering MOTM after MOTM

Would love to see some stats regarding how often he actually breaks into a sprint. Guy jogs around like Pirlo in his last games.

GL is in decline, and part of that is due to the one size fits all thread titles. People like relevant titles, people like seeing different things.

I fear one thread isn't enough to contain the magnitude of fraudness that the said party commands.

He made the worst career move in recent memory, left the perfect environment for his football.

This guy is keeping Kante on the bench in the national team.

His work rate is embarrassing, if he done that at Juve for more than 1 game he'd have been dropped on his ass.

Couldn't even fault him half as much if he was doing the basics. But he's playing like Messi off the ball ffs He's not earned the right to do that.

man went from being partnered in midfield with Marchisio to being partnered with Fellaini

went from Dabbing with Dybala to dabbing with Lingard

Went from dat prime Turin weather and quality of life to living in dreary Manchester again

hard to stay motivated but you would have thought the 20 million a week he earns would keep him happy

he just looks miserable

I don't think he's a write off yet, been some positive moments this season..but I don't expect him to replicate the form he had at Juve for us, it's one thing to do that against Espresso merchants where he can do roulette's every second touch and it's wholly another to do that in the PL


Still been a top 10 CM in the league this season though..just people have expected him to carry us to wins every game for the price we paid and he was never gonna be that player nor have we asked him to be

To get the best out of Pogba, You just need a Vidal-type player running around like a mad dog doing all the tackling and scoring, and a pirlo-type player to control the game and wreck the opposition with defense/midfield splitting passes.

If you got all your bases covered in midfield and you're looking to invest in a dabbing cherry on top, Pogba is your guy imo.

@Firenze do you think Mourinho will ever figure him out? also, probably every game I've seen from United plays a double pivot, is there ever gonna be a midfield 3 going on?

The kid spent 5 years learning about football, playing in a mid 3 as a mezzala.

He is overhyped as hell and we don't discovery it today.

Nothing to add, he is a great talent (but he must attack , because otherwise he is nullified . same mistake made by Deschamps) but the price depends on his agent

Mourinho definitely won't give him that kind of freedom IMO

and we simply don't have the personnel in midfield atm to allow him that kinda role

I don't ever see Mourinho building a midfield around Pogba..at Juve he was fortunate to have the players he had around him in midfield (probably the best midfield since prime Xavi - Iniesta - Busi

tbh and no trolling here but are we seeing pogba go from badly overated and over priced to being a out right scrub. I admit I don't watch every minute of every man u game but tbh I cant see what the guy brings to the party.
