I've begun Breakin Bad now, just ended first season
yeah, in 2020 I still hadn't watched it ( honestly I expected better from 1st season, given its hype, I expect to raise level during next seasons )

yeah, season 1 is generally regarded to be the worst. It's mostly interested in fleshing out those 'in between' scenes (like for instance how to dissolve a body in acid), which people find too slow. After S2 the pacing picks up and it becomes one of the GOATs.

For some reason never went with Breaking Bad but then I decided to give "Better call Saul" a chance, binged it completely and was extremely impressed. Didn't had enough of Mike and Gus so decided to binge BB just for those two lol. At the risk of getting shot in a face I have to say I prefer Better Call Saul to BB, please don't hate me. I still have last season of BB to complete so maybe standings will change but again I also have last season of Better Call Saul to watch so maybe they won't.

I prefer Breaking Bad although both are amazing.

Netflix just picked up "Community". Watch the first 3 seasons if you're interested in some of the best comedy TV has to offer in the last ~decade. Creator is Dan Harmon. Great cast, amazing creativity.

Ozark season 3 is the best yet. It doesnt have the bad pacing of the first two seasons and Laura Linney gives an amazing performance throughout. It feels that the show has finally found its own unique voice. With the way things ended, it definitely feels like the series is nearing its end. A lot of Netflix shows are ending at four seasons so won't be surprised if they announce season 4 is gonna be the final season.

It starts off a bit overly "mainstream network comedy" in some ways...and the main characters actually meet during the first episode, so the start is a bit slow but it gets going pretty quickly. Seasons 2 and 3 are masterpieces
