looks like my girl Emma gonna face stiff opposition for Best Actress. Biopics are usually favoured at the Oscars, but we'll see.

Ruth Negga is bae. Loved her in Preacher, she has a bright career.

So thus far it's shaping up to be Negga vs Stone vs Portman for Best Actress, things might still shift a lot of course as it does as awards season draws nearer.

It's a decent laugh if you know what you're going in for to expect.

The Girl on The Train
Arrival
Nocturnal Animals
Silence
Live By Night
Dr Strange

are 100% certainties that I'm going.

Hacksaw Ridge, The Accountant and La La Land will depend on the hype and ratings when they come out.

Assassins Creed definitely not.

La La Land has the biggest festival hype so far though.

Assassin's Creed will be Amazing. Don't hate. Damien Walters got this.

Please tell me you watched it Firenze?

What a film, holy shit  One of the best zombie films I have ever seen. Not even just a zombie film but probably one of the best films I have seen.

It looks really high budget. Some of the scenes shot were stunning.

I don't know why a zombie film was this emotional. Maybe it's a Korean thing but the drama element in it was 10/10. There were so many holy shit moments. And then scenes that hit you right in the feels. That ending. THAT train compartment scene. Liked the characters too.

This was nearly 28 days later level.

Will watch that, too. Looks classy.

Korean films are vastly underrated. They are some seriously talented filmmakers. They can bring emotion out of the wackiest scenarios.
