paco is much more superior so why is everyone fussing over the LOAN or buyback of munir.

30m for an international striker and someone who started for a first division team who is only 2 years older than munir is an amazing buy especially given todays market.

if munir went to sevilla, real sociedad, or any of those valencia type of teams he would be a substitute, no doubt about that... why do you think he wants to go to celta.. the trade off is good

Munir is a better dribbler, passer, and creator then paco. I feel like logic is flying over your head. Munir had 20 minutes to do something, well no shit he didn't impress as a substitute

Most of his apps come from off the bench and he is much better on the wing then as a CF although he can play both unlike paco

What's going on in this Barca section, suddenly Munir is beast and better than Paco. It's like people forget how their respective seasons went last year and only remember these couple of pre season friendly games. And Barca buy Paco to back up for Suarez and you left out scorer for such convinience, Arda is winger back up, not Paco or Munir.

slight exaggerations but I get what you're saying. A lot of money is wasted year after year but seriously Pogba?!

And donuts you still fail to answer my question. How is paco better then munir in anyway besides the goals department? And munirs appearances come from subs for the most part. I don't get it. It's a waste of 30m. It's really stupid.

In addition, I thought barcas philosophy was to develop youngsters, not buy players like Turan, who by the way had WAY more awful games then munir has and he's way older.

Positioning, yes paco makes better runs but he's played much more so you can expect that. In my opinion yes, munir is a far better passer and he has exceptional ability on the ball. Your youngster argument is not valid, Enrique never plays youth compared to pep and I see him criticized here for it

I'll give you an example. We're hella excited for kovacic this year, he has bossed it ONLY this preseason and a game or two. He has shown clear improvement and I'd say munir has as well.

i'm judging him based on his 2 years and 1 month with us, not 20 minutes, and certainly not in the preseason.

paco is better than munir in what we currently need, a BACKUP STRIKER...
he isn't better than arda turan / denis suarez / rafinha in the wing either so where does that leave him? out on loan where he will get more minutes to prove himself

Like others I thought it was madness to purchase Suarez after the biting incident for such a huge amount and having to give away Sanchez. Instead that deal ended up shaping our entire future.

Bravo was hardly wanted by anyone at our forum. Today I feel bad seeing him go. The bottom line is that fans aren't the best judge of everything.

having a constant starter for la liga AND champions league is important, having a alright backup is nice as-well but someone who wont push for the starting role (but still adds small pressure)

Jasper is good, no need to downtalk his ability. Only thing he's absolutely shit at is penalties. It's in his nature to keep his head down and work hard so he should prove a very nice back up keeper for us.

Ter Stegen is younger and has a higher ceiling. He should, and will, be no. 1.

Young, talented striker (Spain international) that is proven in La Liga playing well in a good team, and is bought to bring in a valuable depth and rotation option--that's basically what I've been asking for for a while. Do people really feel comfortable playing Munir against La Liga opposition the week of a CL game to keep the front three rested? He'll do alright but...I'm much more comfortable with Paco.

We can't even talk about money tbh. This market is whack. Paco is the money it requires for a good player like Paco

We have a convention of creating a thread for every single member of our squad. Anyway my main question was whether people here are at all concerned that we may miss Bravo's reliability or was it time for him to leave.

Don't think we will miss him much. He was a good keeper, one to rely on, but comitted silly mistakes just like every other GK as well. One of Bravo & ter Stegen had to leave and the choice was obvious in the long run.
