We let Munir go only when Paco is annonced, not earlier. And yes, Lucho counts Rafinha, Denis, Arda and even Iniesta as possible wingers so he only needs MSN + Paco as strikers.

Relying on Iniesta

I just dont understand our transfer policy, it was so obvious we needed depth for the FW department and we're actuallly going to lose depth if Munir goes.

*NOT* relying on Iniesta. The fact that he can play on the wing doesn't mean we'll be relying on him... It's in more in the context of a crisis situation.

MSN + Paco, Rafinha, Arda and Denis should be more than enough.

Stop creating drama when there's no need for it.

How is that an upgrade over last season? Paco can even play less positions than Munir, and none of Rafinha, Arda, Denis & Iniesta are natural forwards.

Munir is not quality enough to be starting in the leauge and thats the truth. He was good in preseason but come first leauge game he had barely a few touches on the ball and did nothing of note.

Arda looks way better on the forward position than Munir so far.

Neymar/Arda - Suarez/Paco - Messi/Denis/Aleix


Given that Messi plays every game basically the depth is just fine.

You attack me for judging Gomes on 90 minutes and you judge munir on 20. What did you expect him, to score a hattrick? Also, he made a very good pass to Messi that almost scored, more than Gomes in those 90 that you rate as "the shit". Munir is a good fotballer, but he is more suited for the wings and that's why we trade him for Alcacer. Though again, paying 30 milion for a sub is idiotic. I'd rather play Neymar as CF and Denis on the left.

Welcome Cillessen. Masip should go tbh, I never liked having 3 GKs.

He has the same strengths and sadly the exact same weaknesses as Ter Stegen.

I don't understand these transfers.

Ter Stegen doesn't have weaknesses, except his excessive confidence in his feet play. So he must be a fantastic GK. Same as always, it's excessive to spend 16 milion on a sub GK.

He's awful on high balls especially on indirect set pieces. He also doesn't communicate well with the defenders. And he makes very stupid mistakes quite often too which Bravo would never do for example.

Bravo comitted fewer errors because he'd just stand on his line and not take risks.

ter Stegen is more Neuer like and likes to get higher up the pitch.

Either way, I don't recall many mistakes from either of them. Both are solid keepers.

I think we will be safe with Stegen. He's much more mature now than when he first came in.

Im not happy with Bravo leaving, unless Stegen really steps up and so we know downgrade, but I worry...

Munir its a shame to see another player with our youth system sold and not making it in the end.... Not familiar with Paco, is he good enough for us? I hope he is and we can just put our trust in the manager and the club I guess.

So many new players in for this season, for the first time in many years I cant help but feel some unfamiliarity with our team now, hope its for the better.

Munir is not gone yet and if he goes it'll be a loan most certainly so don't worry.

Paco has a 18 goal season behind him. He's 22 and he accepts bench role behind MSN. What's not to like? 30M is not that much in today's market as well.

paco is a 22 (soon 23) year old with international games under his belt. 30m for him is a huge bargain even if he flops in 5 years we could still get money off him when he should be entering his prime.

munir has flopped.. this isn't his first season with us he starts the season strong and looking great and his mentality has let us down multiple times. he's turning 21 in September

we don't need wingers... messi and neymar are gonna play 90% of the games there all season long.

arda is showing to be not a terrible backup and rafinha still has a lot to show for.

i don't get why people are throwing a fit over losing munir though, all our signings despite maybe gomes are good deals given today's market

they are all young and can be sold for equal if not profit should they not work out for barca.

Ter stegen is good with crosses and high balls, what are you on? Communication it's possible, but it's a two way thing.

Munir still hasn't played a poor game donuts. Sounds like a guilty till proven innocent stance. You're wrong. And 21 is pretty young.

Don't bother free_cat. Clearly they have something against the kid. He's a fantastic talent

I don't have anything against Munir, in fact I like the player. But if I have to choose between him and Arda- I go with Arda. And if I have to choose between him and Alcacer- I go with Alcacer.

A loan at Celta Vigo will do only good to Munir. He's a great talent (I never denied that) but he's still very raw and needs to still gain experience in a lesser club.

I wouldnt trust him to start a Clasico yet. Alcacer has a 18 goal season behind him in a club like Valencia- he's ready to play everything. Munir, not yet.

Also, @free_cat, I made a mistake. I meant the second leg against Sevilla and not the game against Betis when I said Munir had barely a few touches on the ball and he played at CF.

are we talking about this season?? yeah sure sure he didn't play bad in the pre-season
and did average on supercup.

did nothing as a substitute in the first league

that doesn't warrant good praise.. his past two years has been bad.. not enough to be sold but bad.
and it's always the same story he starts the season good and his weak mentality lets him down in the second half of the season when we really need him. (injury or late sub to clinch a goal or assist)

the kid has 25 league games under his belt with 4 goals...  26 total games last season with 8 goals with service from two of msn he should have a lot more.

paco is much more superior so why is everyone fussing over the LOAN or buyback of munir.

30m for an international striker and someone who started for a first division team who is only 2 years older than munir is an amazing buy especially given todays market.

if munir went to sevilla, real sociedad, or any of those valencia type of teams he would be a substitute, no doubt about that... why do you think he wants to go to celta.. the trade off is good
