Class news for the rest of the contenders though. Obvious he's holding you back.

Their new world record 120m signing has Utd fans busy watching how he does so that they don't need to notice their last years 80m € teenager sinking faster than leadweight
Can see Martial getting dropped next match. I think he will have a Harry Kane's last season like season this year. Looking dim at the start and turning it on by the mid season. Games against scrub Eastern European clubs in the EL will help to get him back in form hopefully. Still a WC potential. Just that he's struggling with personal issues.

And aye most Man United fans are really fickle. Bleep Cnuts. People were calling for Jose to play Memphis in place of Martial before the match. Totally forgetting how brilliant he was last season. We truly are the English Galacticos.

Nope. At least Madridistas (real ones) understand football. United fans are clueless.

Absolutely true. If anyone go to Redcafe right now, they will see how the modern age United fans' are.Last week they were calling Pogbito a beast and today you have the same lot saying he's overrated. They are slaying Martial in there right now.
Most of these plastic pretenders might be some 14 year olds anyway. Its so cringe, like that annoying Charlie kid in Full Time Devils (YT channel) who give those so called expert opinions about matches and players. How grown ups take those comments seriously and with a straight face is beyond me.

Re: English Premier League '16-'17 Discussion - Part 2
@RG Kane and Janssen worked really well against Palace last week. I disagree that it looked bad today--Spurs had their best spell with Janssen in (even though he didn't do much he was all over the defense and held the ball up well as usual). We'll see how it goes throughout the season.
Overall though Spurs were shite. Wanyama-Dier is just not going to cut it against good teams--and I predicted they would struggle against the press. Dembele can't come back soon enough for Spurs, and for Dele Alli and Harry Kane to start regaining form. Eriksen has been terrible since the start of the season too.
Spurs were shite, but they should grow into the season. Eriksen, Dele Alli and Kane can only improve--and Dembele will come back rested and ready to go.

Which 3 teams will go down this season? I have a feeling Watford, Swansea and Hull (If they donot get some players by deadline or if they wont give the job to Phelan full time) or Bournemouth.
Will be happy to see Watford go down tbh. Poses should pay for their over ambition. Cant believe they sacked QSF after what he did for them last season. They were so hard to beat. Now they look utter garbage.

Swansea's squad has seriously declined over the last couple of years. They're really lacking in goal threat now right now. Maybe they'll get better when Sigurdsson come back.
Palace for me will go down unless they sack Pardew. The rot is setting in.
West Brom as well.

Re: English Premier League '16-'17 Discussion - Part 2
Swansea still have a decent squad, at least if their striker signings from Spain don't both flop. Their defence looks pretty bad, though.
I do wonder have Bournemouth got enough goals in the team to offset what they let in.
Sunderland are way too dependent on Defoe, I'd say they will finally get relegated. I have no idea about Middlesborough, but on paper they look relegation material. They've started well, though. Crystal Palace's defence is shite, but Benteke's goals will keep them up
