Re: The Bundesliga Thread
I think if you are a Bayern fan, you would rather see them winning all their games in the spring instead of winning all their games in the fall, like they usually do.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
Your Bavarian referee did fine, He gave bayern a foul every time a little Hoff player breathed on a bayern player.
Hoff is not a dirty team, there were maybe 10 fouls, the rest of them were bayern players going down too easily.
Little Sebastian Rudy goes shoulder to shoulder with hardman Vidal and Vidal goes down like a glass of Schop knocked of a counter top. And of course gets a foul.

You could use the international break to ponder carefully about your choice for the first round of the second game of http://www.goallegacy.net/t39794-last-man-standing-bundesliga

@Lucifer
You do your seeding yourself by picking your team wisely. You might want to try it again to improve for a change.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
You know what's an interesting fact, the last 9 top scorers of Bundesliga have all been 6'1 or taller. It's like short players have no chance of being the leading scorer in this league, might as well retire.
Luca Toni (6'4)
Grafite (6'3)
Dzeko (6'4)
Mario Gomez (6'3)
Huntelaar (6'2)
Kießling (6'3)
Alex Meier (6'5)
Lewandowski (6'1)
This season's two leading scorers at the moment Auba (6'2) and Modeste (6'1). Third is Lewa (6'1) and fourth is Ibisevic at (6'2).
Seems so bizarre to me considering average height of top quality players is very low.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
The Buli's the league for a poacher/target man to thrive.
A lot of people make fun of the Buli, but tactically, it's pretty goddamn solid.
Of course, striker quality may not be as good as say, the PL or something, but then that's why you play to your strengths. Buli clubs don't have the money for big time dribble or smaller, skillful type strikers which are extremely expensive in today's market. So they go for the good old big assed guy in the box.
Not to say these guys are not skillful either, mind you. It's mostly tactics.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
Unfortunately not able to watch this game. Calanoglu had a penalty saved, for someone so good at freekicks, I seem to think of him not being good at penalties.
I hope Lawn Bowling come back and win this, be outright 1st place after bayern lose tomorrow.

Infrickincredible
Leipzig ahead 3-2
Watching the last 10 mins or so and RB deservedly score, they are doing all the pressing .

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
after a lot of days, I could watch a Friday game in bar and man, what a match that was. At times, Bayer made it little boring in the first half but match got better and better. RBL are have amazing team spirit and cohesiveness. I hope they put a fight till the end. Btw, Burke was also amazing after coming on.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
The Man is not televising an early Bliga game ( I am thankful they are showing the Klassico) but instead the Sou v Liv game.
Not a lot of goals at half time, but gladbach winning at Koln 1-0 and Mainz winning 2-0 v Freiburg. Not a lot of goals in the Liverpool game either, I normally have them pegged to score four a match.
