Very high. 1) because he'll know German by then, 2) They've had excellent prior experiences with French players, 3) he's a fast forward that can play on the wings if need be, 4) it'll weaken Dortmund. Why wouldn't they go after him?

Well, as he got a contract until 2021, this would mean that Dortmund will make quite a profit if Bayern want him in 2 or 3 years. By then they will certainly have scouted the next prodigy. ^^

Actually Bayern and Dortmund should reach an agreement that BVB will scout talent, Bayern will provide cash, Bvb will give him playing time and develop him, wages being split by both clubs then when proper time arrives Bayern will buy him at predetermined price.

Structuring deals for youngsters this way seems to be the new thing.

It seems like a good way to deal with youngsters. Pay for current performance and bonuses for potential.

had a english club signed him it would have been 37 upfront with 15 addons

Martial has a lot more talent than Dembele... and that's with Dembele being plenty talented. But Martial just had that technical flair to go with the speed and strength.

Well someone mentioned that an EPL club would pay 50+30, which is what Man U paid for Martial... i was pointing out that I don't think that was likely since the talent level is different and I don't think that would happen. Dembele is a great prospect. But he's more like Auba while Martial is more like Henry.

I didn't think of Martial and the 50+30 were just random numbers. Apart from that I'll have to wait and see. Your judgement of players has been off very often in the past especially when it comes to french players :coffee:

Dembele has some insane raw acceleration I've ever seen going from those youtube videos. That first burst of speed on the first step, goddam.

But honestly, his decision making seems Sterling level garbage. If he doesn't improve that it will all be for naught.

Glad Dortmund got him. Looking forward to see how he progresses.

Renato Sanches a few days ago and now Dembele. Bayern are really kicking ass this summer. He should be ready after 2 years of regular playing time on loan at BVB

His passing is pretty good when he actually looks for it. The issue he has is that he pretty much lets you know what he has in mind. His head is down when he intends to make a run and he only lifts it to shoot or pass... he needs to run with his head up. Too much tunnel vision.
