Giving them more time or longer matches isn't the right way imo. Doing that is just a cheap hopeful shortcut. Remember the goal here isn't to appreciate their wrestling skills, it's to make people care about them as a whole. The longer matches will come with time.

What would make me care about the divas? Big storylines. Put them into main event/midcard storylines with males and I'd watch them. But giving divas more time is the equivalent of giving male jobbers more time. It won't make a difference.

The two matches in question do have storylines behind them though. Albeit it only started this week so there is probably more to come from them but still.

Doesn't matter though. If Fandango and Adam Rose, 2 jobbers had a storyline, would anyone care? That's my point. Divas are in the same tier as male jobbers. That's why nobody cares about them.

I cared about the Brie vs Steph storyline 2 years ago because it was a main event story. Likewise with AJ Lee/Punk/Bryan.

Problem is the divas are a minority on the roster. WWE has always been a male dominated company. Which means the divas are unfortunately seen as a side act to the men. There's nothing that can be done about that, unless they have equal men/women appearing every week, which is never going to happen. So the way to make people care about them is to associate them with the men. Lana is arguably the biggest female star along with Steph, because she's associated with Rusev. And even though her feud with Summer Rae/Ziggler was totally rubbish, it was more significant than what a strictly divas feud would have been.

I agree in general they don't, which is why it's important they build the division and not just a couple of girls. No point having the 3 at Wrestlemania and ignoring the rest.

No point in saying you have a division and not building them up, which is why i think Natalya and Emma are involved on TV this week

Start of 2011 wasn't the greatest of periods, but I prefer it to now. Liked the roster better, had a classic WWE feel to it, RAW was 2 hours and Cenawinslol > Reigns. Oh and Rock was part of RTWM.
