Re: Official: Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid handed two window transfer ban.
That's some news. Although , i am pretty sure a few Real fans here at least were actually hoping it would be just the case not too long ago . Well i guess they got their wish ?
I wonder if Real and Atletico will be forced to open their wallet now while they still can , or simply trust in their own quality and mainly make depth signings . Doesn't seem like they will be able to buy this summer like some are saying. No way any appeal lasts till July surely . I mean even if it naturally does take a long time in any case , the outcome will be made sure to come before the summer , otherwise i can see some pretty big bias talk /conspiracy theories e.t.c . Doubt any appeal will drag long enough for either club , needs must , this transfer window is their opportunity to be prudent either way .
Very curious to see what both teams will do this transfer window . This also clears any doubt whatsoever if Isco , or supposedly James , were leaving or not. They definitely aren't going anywhere now .

Re: Official: Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid handed two window transfer ban.
Typical Real Madrid tbh.
Always want to have what others have. They just point at stuff they want and expect to get it.
They watched Barca boss their way to a treble while transfer banned and thought "I want that!!", and they always get what they want with these corrupt officials and federations

lol hans what are you even talking about?
anyway, so we appeal and the ban is lifted giving us time to spend to our heart content? anyway, we can still sign players like barca did but we cant register them. It makes a difference

I don't know about that. Because if we can't register players this summer then that means player will have to sit out entire season out. No player is going to agree with that. No chance.
Re: Official: Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid handed two window transfer ban.
And make them go through the misery of sitting in limbo till you decide to register them?
Imagine buying Hazard next winter and then find him as fat as honey boo boo when it is time to play a competitive game in September

Fair enough it's not a great situation, but you damn well know that an appeal is suspensif, and we will appeal. No worries for now.

It isn't automatically. It was a coincidence in Barca's case (good timing). The announcemen of the ban came in April and Barca appealed end of April so it took until August for a decision which meant Barca could sign in July. In Madrid's case the ban has been announced in January. There is no reason why your appeal should take half a year (until the summer window opens) to evaluate.

Re: Official: Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid handed two window transfer ban.
thats a fair point but the appeal is suspensive regardless, thats just how it works so if they have the time to deal with our first appeal before summer, fine. There is another level of appeal we can take advantage of

Yeah, I was going to add "except uncle Flo", but then I realized uncle Flo seems to be past his prime nowadays. First the De Gea deal then the Copa del Rey fiasco and now this. And here was I thinking Barca would be run by clowns.

Coincidence lmao
Knowing FIFA they probably took something from Barca.
They gets ban in April... Perfect timing while both Madrid clubs gets ban in December to avoid appeal.

Re: Official: Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid handed two window transfer ban.
Poor hazard and de gea.
Btw, they should sign hazard now imo, they could do with him in la liga afterall its not like chelsea aren't scrubs right now. I mean, what do they even stand to loose? Its not like chelsea are getting past the round of 16 anyway
Best case scenario he stays out of the inevitable CL humiliation with chelsea. What's more, he could even finally get a few goals and be a part of the CL winning team come end of season with madrid. That way shipping off mehnaldo during the summer doesn't become a chore
Hazard can also use the next six months for his industrial training in madrid together with de gae.

I agree the tax frauds, transfer bans are an issue, but as to the other two, this is not Italy, you been following harmonica's BS too long.

Re: Official: Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid handed two window transfer ban.
This has made this transfer window very interesting.
Atleti probably need a new CF, as Hackson isn't good enough, and Real need a CF, DM and LB. Plus they could go for DDG again.
Exciting end to the window, I hope.

Re: Official: Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid handed two window transfer ban.
There won't be any big moves this window.
Both clubs will be given enough time to sign new players in the summer before the ban comes into effect.
This is a bogus ban which actually aids the teams than crippling them.
It's all a pile of crap no wonder it's not getting much attention around here.

If they use the same process as Barca, surely the appeal will be denied before July?
I can't see Atleti, at least, wanting to risk it. Real may be able to get into the summer window, if they are lucky.
