39 and 100 are the number of cases FIFA investigated from Real Madrid and Atlético. After the investigation FIFA found 10 irregular contracts at Barcelona, 8 at Real Madrid and 20 at Atlético. A fine of 45,000 CHF per kid.

The 8 Real Madrid kids are: Luca and Enzo Zidane, Benjamín Garay, Manuel Godoy, Fernando Macías and three of Achraf/Paolo Medina/Binu Bairam/Mink Peeters

The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has granted the precautionary measures that Real Madrid C. F. appealed for following the sanction issued by FIFA.

Therefore, the minors affected by said sanction may now play for their respective clubs.

Just part of the appeal (CAS) process. Seeing there is no market right now and appeal likely to be held before next market, no need to do anything (yet) about transfer ban. What's interesting is this ruling is only for Real, nothing stated about Atleti!!

This plus the fact that the fine for Atleti is much larger and the factual details that are coming out about Zidane's kids, Garay's brother and the Moraccan kid being contrary to ruling, makes one wonder if there is a chance of appeal being successful.

I don't understand this at all.

Real Madrid - they have 8 players in question! 3 have left the organization, the other 5; Zidane's two youngest, Garay's brother, the Morrocan kid and a Romanian are allowed to play. We have already heard that the first 4 all have legitimate reasons to be with the club. Don't know about the 5th nor the 3 that have left.

Atleti - apparently a FIFA sub committee has already reviewed and approved all of the questionable players with the organization! but at same time, they seem prepared to accept the ban!!

Does this then mean that ban / fine is about players no longer with the clubs?

MD is saying that the ban could be reduced to just one window. As a result we might have the possibility to be active in the summer mercato.

No chance, even Fifa isn't that stupid. It would alienate many casuals who currently buys their modern fake money grabbing football. They just blatantly gifted Refdrid another title, and I think there's limit of stupidity even for casual viewers.

Apparently there are different rules in football for Real Madrid, like in every single day they get different Uefa draws, refs help them in every competition, Ballon d'Or rules get changed, tax evading is completely different thing for them and now CAS biasedly helps them.

Gotta love the language that is used when doing up legal documents. Also, either Perez has way more influence than I can possibly imagine or Madrid actually did not do much wrong doing.

I am definitely far more inclined to believe the former. It's time we make a documentary on Harmonica's conspiracy theories or something tbh. He really might be on to something here.

Someone more invested in this than me can probably look into it more, but a lot of the ban hinged on the sons of previous Madrid players who are obviously rich and not who the rule was made for. In their case it wasn't that the parents were working for Madrid because of the kids presence of the club, but the other way around, which makes the rule a bit unnecessary for them. Something like that.

Interesting and if that were the case, not surprised they went into the technicalities of the law. A lawyer worth his salt suppose to do that anyway. Maybe Old Man Bill would be so kind as to go further, I think he is actually keeping up with this.
