Danny Wilson - Liverpool >> Hearts (Free)

Liverpool defender Danny Wilson has agreed to join Scottish side Hearts on a permanent deal.

The 21-year-old spent the second half of the 2012-13 campaign on loan at Tynecastle.

Wilson made a total of nine appearances for the Reds after joining in the summer of 2010.

He leaves Anfield with the best wishes of everyone at Liverpool Football Club.

Sort of disappointed with Wilson tbh. He was rated highly when Rafa signed him and looked promising. Unfortunately just didn't take that extra step to get into the first team.

Wilson was unfortunate in that he was a Benitez signing who arrived just after Benitez actually left. He was forced to play under a new manager who had little idea of how to use him or the rest of the squad and his debut (Northampton) only served to destroy what little confidence he had and the manager had in him. From then on he was used as a LB or a reserve CB and never regained his confidence with us. It sounds like he had a good season on loan with Hearts though so hopefully this permanent move can help him reignite what looked to be a very promising career prior to his move to Liverpool.

2-year deal for a 32-year old! Not cool man, not cool. Scary, but not cool. As for wilson, well our loan-outs never seem to make the grade.

I don't think Toure is going to perform that well for us, but I hope I'm wrong.

If Toure can pull a-Bellamy, that would be a dream come true.
