Although it says something that it took them one year, destroying the momentum of everyone else (especially Ambrose, Ziggler, Wyatt), bringing out Vince to be punched, putting Triple H in the hospital, and an anti USA faction for him to get not booed. So much effort for one guy. And everyone else is shat on.

That's because Reigns and Bryan are polar opposites. They did not want Bryan to be champion at all but fans forced their hand. Reigns is their chosen one and if it was not for fans, he would have won at Wrestlemania.

ratings are tanking though right? Sheamus as a champion for months is disgusting, Reigns winning the title was the best solution I guess, I feel like they've handled it as well as possible considering the injury crisis atm.

They didn't want to give it to Bryan, but they WANT to give it to Reigns. Did you forget the whole Batista situation. They even tried turning him heel against the Wyatts.

They've been wanting to give Roman the title since WM 31. They broke the streak for him, so he can go over Brock. If he wasn't getting booed out of the building every time he was close to winning the championship he would have won it much earlier.

If it wasn't for his look, he'd be jobbing to Adam Rose on superstars weekly. Atrocious mic skills with awkward delivery. Tries to be funny with jokes aimed at 2 year olds. Not to mention he has no character whatsoever. He's nothing more than an enforcer of a stable.

At least Cena has goat mic skills and a character. Plus it made sense when he won the title because he was an actual underdog who was organically over with the entire audience.

lol Reigns has been progressively getting better reactions over the last couple of months, he did improve on the mic and in the ring, and if it wasnt for people predicting that he's Cena 2.0 he would be legit over by now.

If we compare Reigns to say Batista i dont see a lot of difference, both are above average with a great look, but Batista never had to deal with fans turning on him for reasons beyond his control so he got his following. (oh wait he did)

At this time there is no alternative for Reigns. Yes we wanna see our fav WRESTLERS get the shine they deserve, but lets be real, non of them has IT. In the past punk stood out as someone who can TALK, and Bryan's matches were the best we've seen in years, but what is it that makes Ambrose special? he's a top quality wrestler but he isnt a TV superstar. And that's what the WWE is, it's a TV show, and they want someone who stands out on TV. This is how it works. We definitely need quality booking/feuds/Storytelling for these guys, but hating on Reigns will not make a difference.

Reigns does not have anything over others except for the look. And because of that they killed momentum of everyone else and centered all their booking around one man from which we get a shit overall product. That is unacceptable. Hopefully now that their chosen one is finally champion they stop actively trying to get others from getting too over.

Also Ambrose is definitely a TV superstar. He is more over than Reigns despite WWE spending all their booking power on Reigns while Ambrose spends half the PPVs these past six months sitting out or being Reigns's little sidekick. Better mic skills, better on the ring, more charisma. He can be funny without being childish or cringe.

This promo. Reigns could never cut a promo with these lines nor would he be able to do it with such delivery and intensity.



Ever seen Reigns have an effective back and forth with another person? All he does is say bitch or son to get pops.



He was the most over superstar in 2014 after Bryan got injured and then he lost 9 PPVs in a row (:





The pop he got in freakin Corpus Cristi after "winning" the WWE title. Compare that to the pop Reigns got in Survivor Series (he didn't). Reigns had to put Triple H in the hospital and Superman punch Vince and fight of three anti Americans in a You're Fired match to achieve it. Ambrose back then was coming of a micard feud with Luke Harper.





We already established he is a better wrestler so there you have it. That's just tip of the iceberg. There are a handful of superstars who were more over than Reigns, better than him but all got shat on or stopped from getting too over.

Batista's booking was better though imo. HHH/Evolution were the top dogs on RAW for years and Batista breaking out of it made him the underdog in the story. His push wasn't blatant and desperate in the way Reigns' push is.

Plus Batista was a charismatic intimidating beast with an actual powerhouse moveset and his promos weren't cringeworthy.

RAW's rating is 2.66 this week, highest since end of August. Vince is a draw, should push himself.
