Anybody else thinks it's time we pack Alba in sack and throw away in Pacific ocean? If yes which would/should be our LB targets.

Didn't Alba and Neymar have a bust up this season? Well Alba can't defend and can't score Messi through balls, so it's not hard decision.

Re: Transfer Rumours V6
Iniesta is still the priority number one to replace. Rakitic does double work, Busquets is good, yet I don't remember last time we had an actual midfield without Messi. Messi needs to buy proper creative midfielder asap.

Re: Transfer Rumours V6
If Messi is moving deeper next season (which looks likely), LE has to get him to start performing his midfield duties, like covering & pressing. Or sign someone to do that - which ends up spoiling the shape mind.
I mean Iniesta was pressing aggressively last season, and he's a maestro. No reason why Messi shouldn't be putting in a shift.

Re: Transfer Rumours V6
Apparently we are heavily trying to sign center back Maurico Lemos (20 year old from Uruguay) from Las Palmas. We offered 4M plus incentives but has been rejected. It's expected we go back with a new offer. He has a 30M buyout fee, but we are trying to get them to lower there demands. I honestly never even heard of this dude, had to look up his FIFA potential/stats LOL
http://sofifa.com/player/229270
Also, if reports are to be believed, we are close to selling Halilovic to Valencia for 5M with buy back for the next 3 years (12M fee in last year)
And lastly, Munir is stalling is stalling on signing a contract renewal, and is planning on requesting to go out on loan if we were to sign another forward. Clubs prefers he stays, but will not block his loan if he requests one.

Never heard of this Lemos guy. Is there evidence to suggest he'd be any better than Bartra?
I wish one of Halilovic/Suarez stays in the squad. Can gain some CdR minutes. So tired of seeing Turan or Rafinha come off the bench. No flair in any of them.

Re: Transfer Rumours V6
I hate the Halilovic rumors. Since when did we outsource talent development. We are unique among the top teams because we give legitimate chances to youth team products. Enrique has completely destroyed that. He prefers scrubs or oldies brought in from other teams.
Where would we be if LVG and Rijkaard had decided to bring in random old scrubs from La Liga teams and outsource development of Messi, Xavi, Puyol, Iniesta etc to other clubs?
Hate Enrique for not giving youth a chance.

I agree with Alex on this. We simply do not give enough chances to the youth so far. I know we do not have a golden generation we used to have, but I think at least Halilovic was a good prospect, and considering the fact we lost CL because of the fifa virus, aka players are too tired to bother playing, we should have given the kid a chance!

Re: Transfer Rumours V6
Ok I get that players like Halil should get more time at Barca instead of loaning them to some scrub teams but the problem actually is our forwards actually play nearly evey min of every match and are rarely subbed rest alone resting. So the question is why would you want young players with great potential to warm the bench entire season? Why not give him chance to develop somewhere else and then inject him in to the first team? Also not every young player agrees to remain on bench entire season to play 10-20mins that too on rare occasion.

Tuchel, talking about watching Guardiola's Barça: "I re-learned what this game offers: Structured position-play, pass rhythm, ball control"
Tuchel: "...and the absolutely most courageous and hardworking defending of topstars I've ever seen."
Tuchel:" Just look at their [Guardiola's Barça] games - you can learn everything about football."
Tuchel, asked why he followed Pep's Barça that closely: "I always followed Barça and was a Barça fan since the days of Johan Cruyff."
Tuchel: "In Cruyff's tradition, Pep proved as a coach that you can play football in a beautiful AND succesful way, and you may even have to"
When Enrique leaves, wouldn't mind Tuchel seems to have passion for the club and understand the way we play.

We don't need Betas like Tuchel. Loser mentality through and through. Watch his post match interview after getting spanked 1-5 earlier this season. Only thing missing was him jumping out of his chair and going on his knees infront of Pep.
Our youth policy doesn't bother me. Halilovic is not Xavi, Iniesta or Messi and never will be. People still don't grasp that it was a once in a lifetime generation. Halilovic got left out of the Sporting squad this season several times, his coach said he didn't work enough in training. You think he deserves chances at Barca? lel Sit down.

i think giving halilovic to valencia will prove if he's worth sitting in the bench for us and fighting for the spot.

If Lucho were to leave, I would be ok with Tuchel. I mean what other options are out there that play in a way that would benefit our squad? He also seems to understand the logic of giving youth a shot. Lucho's logic is to get a old vet that's familiar with La Liga, instead of trying out to see if we even need to spend money in said position. Which is insanely ignorant, considering he is is pretty much saying he will only scout VET players from a small country, vs considering options from the rest of the entire planet lol

Re: Transfer Rumours V6
our youth just simply isn't that great idk what the fuss is about
first it was samper, and then grimaldo. both sucked i mean honestly samper isn't that great for our B team, (not that he is bad but if he isn't looking like prime buscuit or xavi against these third division scrubs then he just isn't barcelona material), grimaldo still hasn't done anything for his new team.
munir was given chances and he sucked... he has less goals than pique in a time where messi was out injured for two months... with a supporting cast of suarez and neymar lol
rafinha would of been played much more this season if it weren't for his season injury and sergi roberto was the surprise of the season thanks to lucho.. all of us fans wanted him sold.
only place we lack depth is in the defense honestly and can't say bartra deserves to start over mascherano or pique, given his minutes he's done nothing impressive and looks shaky as hell.
the problem for next season is the same as the one before it..
wanna keep halilovic??
then who do you suggest we take out.. he's competing for iniesta and messi's starting spot, one rafinha, and munir can play (the wings) and the other is sergi roberto and rafinha again, both youngsters
those players out rank halilovic and still deserve a "shot" at barca, a loan to valencia just makes the logical sense for him, great team for him to grow more as a player.

Re: Transfer Rumours V6
in terms of buying younger players, i agree we shouldn't of gotten players like verm, turan, mathieu.
so far this transfer window we've been linked with 2 older players (Gameiro, ben afra) and the rest have been youngsters, marquinhos, laporte, bellerin, lemos (the palmas defender) wendell, the return of d. suarez.
obviously just rumors but maybe this summer we'll go for a younger approach and recycle the older players.
players like bravo, adriano, mathieu, verm, turan have all been on most rumored lists of players to be sold (or at least have been offered to clubs)

Re: Transfer Rumours V6
Lots of rumors of Mascherano headed to Juventus this summer.
I personally would of loved him to stay. I think he still offers hard grit and fights for our club, thats what our back line needs, eve if he is limited and aging. I think he could of possibly stayed on for another year or 2 as a back up, easily. If we sign another CB to be the starter, we are now gonna have Verm/Mathieu as back ups, which I can't say is that good. Would rather get rid of those 2 and have Masch/Bartra as the bench players.

Sounds like our entire back line bar Pique and Alba may or may not leave.
Douglas, Verm, Math, Alves, Adriano, Bartra, and Masch have all in one way or another either been rumored to leave, rumored to want to leave, or rumored that the club is ready to sell/replace

Yeah saw that.
Whats with Juve getting Alves and Mascherano?
Think it has something to do with us getting Pogba? Or just more of Juve going for old players?
